SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—NELSON CONSERVANCY

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Buller County, containing 740 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Section 7, Block IV, Waitakere Survey District; thence north-westerly to peg VII on S.O. Plan 7373; thence along a line bearing 35 degrees to its intersection with the northern bank of Tailings Creek; thence north-westerly generally along the northern bank of the aforesaid creek to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 37, Block IV, Waitakere Survey District; thence to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 37 and that boundary produced to its intersection with the southern bank of Totara River; thence south-easterly generally along that bank to its intersection with the provisional State forest boundary as described in Gazette, 1920, page 2115; thence southerly and westerly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.

As shown on plan No. 112/15, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of December 1961.

Declaring Land in the South Auckland Land District a Wildlife Refuge in the Auckland Acclimatisation District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Auckland Acclimatisation District for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in South Auckland Land District in Waikato County bounded by a line commencing 400 yd due north of the westernmost corner of Allotment 209, Whangamarino Parish, in Block IV, Rangiriri Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly generally along a right line to a point 400 yd due south of the island adjacent to Allotment 234E, Whangamarino Parish, in Block XVI, Maramarua Survey District; thence easterly and southerly generally along a line 400 yd distant from, parallel to, and measured at right angles to the generally northern and eastern shores of Lake Waikare to a point 200 yd due west of Goat Island adjacent to Allotment 213B, Whangamarino Parish, in Block I, Hapuakohe Survey District; thence south-westerly generally along a right line to the point of commencement. As shown on the plan marked I. A. 52/471 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Directing the Sale of Land in the City of Dunedin

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, the land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 10·75 perches situated in the City of Dunedin, Otago R.D., being parts of Sections 7 and 8, Block IV, Upper Kaikorai Survey District. All certificate of title, Volume 203, folio 82, Otago Land Registry.

Authorising the Laying Off of Streets off a New Street off Elles Road South in the City of Invercargill; Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Invercargill City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed new streets described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of their lengths of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green (excepting Lots 155 and 195) on the plan marked M.O.W. 4358 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 15 ft from the side lines of the said new streets.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

THOSE proposed streets in the City of Invercargill containing 1 acre 3 roods 28·1 perches, being parts Lot 1, D.P. 5921, and part Sections 8 and 9, Block III, Invercargill Hundred; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4358 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of his Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Palmerston North and be under the control and management of the Palmerston North City Council.
