A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 2 roods 16 perches situated in Block XXIII, Invercargill Hundred, Southland R.D., adjoining Section 102, Section 116, and Section 117; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4247 (S.O. 6742) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Lands in North Auckland and Taranaki Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and Taranaki Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Taranaki Education Board as sites for public schools shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

PART Section 80, Block I, Purua Survey District: Area, 1 acre 1 rood 0·8 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 667, folio 122. Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto being portion of provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation dated the 29th day of September 1924, and published in Gazette, 2 October 1924, Volume III, page 2243, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that part of State Forest No. 46, now known as Section 25, Block XII, Mokoreta Survey District: Area, 482 acres, more or less. (S.O. Plan 6718.)

SECTION 9, Block XV, Tutamoe Survey District: Area, 272 acres, more or less. As shown on plan No. 8/49 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 11055.)
