At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 4th day of December 1961
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Matamata County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of road containing 25Β·8 perches situated in Block XIV, Tapapa Survey District, Auckland R.D., adjoining or passing through Lot 1, D.P. S. 1553, being part Okoroire Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4227 (S.O. 38664) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Ngamotu Road in the City of New Plymouth, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1956 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the New Plymouth City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 22, 33, 34, 35, and 36 of a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked M.O.W. 4176 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 15 ft from the side line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
That proposed street in the City of New Plymouth containing by admeasurement 28 perches, more or less, being part Section 76, Block IV, Paritutu Survey District (Spotswood Settlement); as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4176 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Otaki College Board of Governors Order 1961

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 27th day of November 1961
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Otaki College Board of Governors Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of February 1962. - The constitution of the Board of Governors of Otaki College, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Wellington Education Board;
(b) Seven members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school.
(c) One member appointed by the Otaki Borough Council;
(d) One member to be co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.

Taupo-Nui-a-Tia College Board of Governors Order 1961

Pursuant to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited at the Taupo-Nui-a-Tia College Board of Governors Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of February 1962. - The constitution of the Board of Governors of Taupo-Nui-a-Tia College, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
(b) Four members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
(c) One member appointed by the Taupo Borough Council;
(d) Two members elected by the members of the School Committees of the Taupo Public School, the Tauhara Public School, the Wairakei Public School, and the Waipahihi Public School;
(e) One member co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit. - The Minister of Education may from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, amend the list of schools to which paragraph (d) of clause 2 of this order applies.

Mount Maunganui College Board of Governors Order 1961

- (1) This order may be cited as the Mount Maunganui College Board of Governors Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of February 1962. - The constitution of the Board of Governors of Mount Maunganui College, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
(b) Six members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school, of whom at least two shall be men and at least two shall be women;
(c) One member appointed by the Mount Maunganui Borough Council;
(d) One member to be co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.
