(1) This order may be cited as the Cambridge High School Board of Governors Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of February 1962. -
The constitution of the Board of Governors of Cambridge High School, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
(b) Seven members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school;
(c) One member to be co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit.

John Charles Derbie Mackley, M.B.E., of Masterton; and Ronald Erle White, O.B.E., of Timaru,
to be members of the said Commission, and hereby declares that the members so appointed shall hold office for a term of five years commencing on the 1st day of January 1962.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 16th day of November 1955 and published in the Gazette on the 17th day of the same month at page 1766, authorising Kare Kare House Ltd. to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect and use certain electric lines.

Adding Land to the Fiordland National Park

Pursuant to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Fiordland National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Fiordland National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
