WAIMARINO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waimarino County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a metal pit; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Waimarino County Council, Seddon Street, Raetihi, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Waimarino County Council at its offices in Seddon Street, Raetihi.

0 1 34·6 Part Subdivision 2 of Section 1, Block II, Makotuku Survey District, contained in certificate of title, Volume 299, folio 49; coloured sephia on plan.
1 1 15·4 Part Section 8, Block II, Makotuku Survey District, contained in certificate of title, Volume 293, folio 284; coloured orange on plan.
Both pieces of land being situated in the County of Waimarino and the Land Registration District of Wellington; as the same are more particularly delineated on a plan marked S.O. 25172 deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland Electric Power Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the erection of an electrical substation; and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the General Manager at the Auckland Electric Power Board Building, Queen Street, Auckland (sixth floor), and it is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the General Manager, Auckland Electric Power Board, Power Board Building, Queen Street, Auckland C. 1.

ALL that parcel of land containing one rood twenty-seven decimal one perches (1 r. ·27·1 p.), being part Lot 13A, Deposited Plan 13479, and being part Clendon's Grant and part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 393, folio 211, Auckland Registry.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Variations to City of Palmerston North District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the variations to the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for Section 1 (zoning and reserving of land) were approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 27th day of November 1961.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 8th day of December 1961.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and in every public library in the district and may be inspected without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

BOROUGH OF MANUREWA
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1954
Inviting Proposals for Manurewa District Scheme
FURTHER to the public notice given in May 1954 that the Manurewa Borough Council had resolved on 17 May 1954, to prepare for the then area of the Manurewa Borough containing some 1,545 acres, a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1954, public notice is hereby given that the Manurewa Borough Council, at its meeting held on 20th day of November 1961, has resolved to prepare, for the new areas of the Manurewa Borough containing some 258 acres, a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Council has resolved that the scheme being prepared in accordance with the two resolutions shall be joined and prepared as one scheme for the whole borough containing 1,803 acres.
Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the scheme for the whole borough.
Proposals marked "Manurewa Borough District Scheme" should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk's office on or before the 26th day of March 1962.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
City of Christchurch District Scheme, Section One (Zoning), Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the City of Christchurch, Section One (Zoning), was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 15th day of November 1961, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of April 1962.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office and in the public library for the district and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Inviting Proposals for the City of Christchurch District Scheme (Section Two)
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution passed by it on the 19th day of September 1955 to prepare a district scheme in two sections, the Christchurch City Council, at its meeting held on the 15th day of November 1961, resolved to prepare the second section of the district scheme for the City of Christchurch, dealing with the following matters:
(1) The preservation of objects and places of historical or scientific interest or natural beauty.
(2) The designation of reserves and proposed reserves for national, civic, cultural, and community purposes, for afforestation and water catchment purposes, for recreation grounds, ornamental gardens, parks and childrens' playgrounds, and for open spaces.
(3) The designation of open spaces for purposes of value to the community on land not intended to be owned by the Council.
(4) Public access from place to place, car parks, transport terminals, aerodromes, and public transport systems, including their creation, establishment, closing, removal, alteration, and diversion; traffic routing; the coordination of street widths with land uses and population densities; off-street provision for vehicles while being loaded or unloaded or standing; the fixing of building lines in relation to highways.
