(5) Sewerage, drainage, and sewage and rubbish disposal.
(6) Lighting and water supply.
(7) Buildings, with particular reference to:
(a) Their position on allotment and in relation to any highway and to other buildings;
(b) Their density, use, character, height, and harmony in design and external appearance;
(c) Verandas in commercial streets;
(d) Open space about buildings;
(e) The fixing of building lines for amenity and other purposes.
(8) Provision and preservation of amenities, including regulation and control of outdoor advertising displays.
(9) Control of subdivision, including restraint upon unnecessary encroachment of urban development upon land of high actual or potential value for production of food.
(10) Land subdivision standards in relation to any permitted use.
(11) Minimum site areas and dimensions in relation to uses of land and buildings.
(12) Ancillary or consequential works and all other matters involving the principles of town and country planning.
(13) The period during which each stage of development is to be undertaken as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “City of Christchurch District Scheme, Section Two” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 1st day of June 1962.

PYNE, GOULD, GUINNESS (LTD.) TRUST ACT 1934

I, Harman Warren, Secretary of Pyne, Gould, Guinness Ltd., do solemnly and sincerely declare:

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the authorised capital of the company is £1,000,000.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 500,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid up.
  4. That there is an issue of £400,000 “A” and “B” perpetual debenture stock which rank for payment after all creditors.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of estates is £1,176,554 6s. 4d. for the year ended 30 September 1961.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates is £1,165,605 4s. 4d. for the year ended 30 September 1961.
  7. That the amount of the balance held on 30 September 1961 to the credit of the estates under administration is £213,570 13s 0d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company on 30 September last were £2,038,718.

Debts owing to sundry persons by the company, viz: on judgment, nil; on speciality, nil; on terminable debentures, nil; on simple contracts, £2,038,718; on estimated liabilities, nil.
9. That the assets of the company on that day were £3,682,014.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true and by virtue of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 22nd day of November 1961, cancelled the registry of Court Star of Greendale, No. 7762, of the Canterbury United District of the New Zealand Ancient Order of Foresters’ Friendly Society (Register No. 28/20) held at Greendale, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertions.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand,

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 35s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
