Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

Pursuant to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be deemed to have been Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948 as from the 8th day of November 1960.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 30 perches situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D., and being Lot 6 on the plan marked M.O.W. 4237 (H.D.C. 32082) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red; being part Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 18180, being part Rural Sections 9152 and 9165. All the land in Proclamation No. 556386 and part of the land in Proclamation No. 523143, Canterbury Land Registry.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IV, Tuturau Survey District, for Better Utilisation

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for better utilisation; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Chief Post Office at Wyndham and is there open for inspection; and that any persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Kaikohe Aerodrome

In the matter of the Public Works Amendment Act 1956 and in the matter of the Kaikohe Aerodrome in the North Auckland Land District

The Minister of Works, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section 8 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1956, hereby gives notice that, for the purpose of making the Kaikohe Aerodrome safe for aviation purposes, he limits the erection, placing, or extension, without the consent of the Minister in Charge of Civil Aviation, of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind, or the growing of trees or shrubs of any kind, on the land described in the First Schedule hereto to the respective levels defined in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 52 acres 2 roods 19·2 perches situated in Block III, Punakitere Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being Section 1; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 117339 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red and hatched red, and edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

No building, pole, mast, or other structure shall be erected and no trees or shrubs shall be allowed to grow on the land shown edged red and hatched red on the said P.W.D. Plan 117339.

No building, pole, mast, or other structure shall be erected and no trees or shrubs shall be allowed to grow within a 1 in 7 side clearance of the west edge and extended edge of the main strip and also a 1 in 7 clearance from the north-east edged (and extended edge) of the runway vector 13/31 on the land shown edged red on the said P.W.D. Plan 117339.
