At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 13th day of November 1961
Present:
THE HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 44 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Schedules hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 27·8 perches situated in Block V, Ikitara Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Ngongohau No. 2A, being all certificate of title, Volume 816, folio 163, Wellington Land Registry. Land taken for the Wanganui Metropolitan Motorway by Proclamation published in the Gazette, No. 34, of 11 June 1959, page 749.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Te Mata Road in the Borough of Havelock North, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 6th day of November 1961
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Havelock North Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked M.O.W. 4073 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 15 ft from the side line of the said street.

Varying a Condition as to Setting Back the Building Line of Portions of Streets Known as Moorhouse Street and Wade Street in the City of Wellington. Imposed by Order in Council Under the Public Works Act 1908

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 6th day of November 1961
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 26th day of March 1917, published in Gazette, 29 March 1917, Volume I, page 1122, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 759, exempting portions of Wade Street and of Moorhouse Street from the provisions of section 117 of the Public Works Act 1908, now section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, subject to a condition as to the building line, by varying the condition with regard to the building line imposed by the said Order in Council so that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 1, D.P. 22498, within a distance of 25 ft from the centre lines of the said streets.
