A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 35 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1945, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a parking place, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Riccarton as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of November 1961.
SCHEDULE
Canterbury Land District
ALL that piece of land containing 8·8 perches situated in the Borough of Riccarton, Canterbury R.D., and being part Lot 238, D.P. 3360, being part Rural Section 163; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4059 (S.O. 9836) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
