Land Taken for a Post Office and for an Automatic Telephone Exchange in Block XII, Kowai Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a post office and that the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an automatic telephone exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of November 1961.

SCHEDULE

Canterbury LAND DISTRICT

All those pieces of land situated in Block XII, Kowai Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

0 0 13 Part Lot 2, D.P. 13336; being part Rural Section 9178; coloured orange on plan.
0 0 4·9 Part Lot 2, D.P. 13336; being part Rural Section 9178; coloured orange on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4011 (S.O. 9892) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 20th day of October 1961.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of November 1961.

Easement Over Land Taken for Coal-mining Purposes in Block III, Waitahu Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 162 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for coal-mining purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with the right for Her Majesty's invitees, servants, agents, and workmen from time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles, over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose as hereinbefore provided, such easement to be a right in gross; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of November 1961.

All those pieces of land situated in Block III, Waitahu Survey District, Nelson R.D., described as follows:

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for defence purposes, subject to the building-line restriction imposed by Notice No. 398468, Canterbury Land Registry.

SCHEDULE

Canterbury LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 0·7 of a perch situated in Block XIV, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Lot 2, D.P. 17518, being part Rural Section 1630X; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 4072 (S.O.9844) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Land and Easements Over Land Taken for a Highways Depot in Block IV, Lower Hawea Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a highways depot and that easements are hereby taken for the purposes of the highways depot over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, inspect, cleanse, repair, renew, and maintain a line of pipes under the said land and to use the said line of pipes over the land first described in the said Second Schedule for the unimpeded conveyance of water for domestic purposes and to use the said line of pipes over the land secondly described in the said Second Schedule for the conveyance and disposal of sewage, such easements to be appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of November 1961.
