Easement Over Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is hereby taken for State housing purposes over the land described in the First Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen the full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity, to drain and discharge surface water from the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, under and along the land described in the said First Schedule, and for such purpose to lay, construct, place, remove, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, and maintain drains under and along the land described in the said First Schedule and for such purpose by Her Majesty's agents, servants, workmen, employees, contractors, and assignees, to enter upon and pass and repass over the land described in the said First Schedule, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles, laden or unladen, and materials, machinery, and implements to make any cuttings, fillings, grades, batters, or trenches and to reopen any such trenches and to lay, construct, place, remove, reconstruct, cleanse, repair, or maintain any drains or lay, lift, repair, and relay additional drains and materials and to do all and singular upon or under the land described in the said First Schedule such acts, deeds, matters, and things as Her Majesty the Queen, her agents, servants, workmen, employees, contractors, or assignees may consider desirable for or in anyway in connection with the laying, constructing, placing, removing, reconstructing, cleansing, repairing, and maintaining or using such drains and the transmission of surface water under and along the land described in the said First Schedule, such easement to be appurtenant to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 6th day of November 1961.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., being the 10 links wide strip adjoining the southern boundary of Lot 35, D.P. 22778, coloured blue on the said plan, being part Section 21, Lowry Bay District. Part certificate of title, Volume 943, folio 69, Wellington Land Registry.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 38·81 perches, situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., being Lots 16 to 24, D.P. 22778, being part Section 21, Lowry Bay District. Part certificate of title, Volume 943, folio 69, Wellington Land Registry.
