At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day October 1961
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 1·5 perches situated in Block XVI, Hapuakohe Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Lot 4, D.P. 4950, being part Loan and Mercantile Grant; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2652 (S.O. 40600) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, edged yellow.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Manukau County Council.

ALL those access ways containing together 38·9 perches situated in Block VII, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being Lot 255, L.T. 48891, and Lots 70, 160, 193, and 235, L.T. 48892. Parts certificate of title, Volume 941, folio 253, Auckland Land Registry.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

On and from the 1st day of November 1961, the area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County of Southland and included in the Borough of Gore.

The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and the said borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
AREA EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF SOUTHLAND AND INCLUDED IN BOROUGH OF GORE
ALL that area in the Southland Land District containing 62 acres, more or less, and bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Lot 4, D.P. 1257, and proceeding thence north-easterly along the north-western side of No. 1 State Highway to its junction with a line running parallel to and 250 links south of the southern side of Salford Street; thence due east along the said line to the south-eastern side of No. 1 State Highway; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of No. 1 State Highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 3, 8, and 9, Block I, D.P. 181; thence north-westerly to and along the north-eastern boundaries of the said Lots 3, 8, and 9 to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 1742; thence south-westerly and westerly along the south-eastern and southern boundaries of the said Lot 3 to the south-western corner thereof; thence due north along the western boundaries of the said Lot 3 and Lot 1, D.P. 1503, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Charlton Road; thence due east along the middle of Charlton Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of the said Lot 1; thence due south to and along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 to a point 250 links south of the southern side of Charlton Road; thence due east along a right line parallel to Charlton Road to the south-eastern boundary of part Lot 10, Block I, D.P. 87; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said part Lot 10 and south-easterly along the southern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 1257, to the point of commencement.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Tourist Hotel Corporation Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Fiordland National Park, shall as from the date hereof be administered under the provisions of the Tourist Hotel Corporation Act 1955, but otherwise shall remain part of the said park.

SECTIONS 5, 6, and 7, Block I, Milford Survey District: Total area, 69 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked T.H.C./04 deposited in the Head Office of the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zealand at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 6707.) Portions of Fiordland National Park.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Tourist Hotel Corporation Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of the Fiordland National Park, shall as from the date hereof cease to be administered by the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zealand for the purposes of the said Act, but otherwise shall remain part of the said park.
SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 1, Block I, Milford Sound Survey District; Area, 6 acres, more or less. All the land in certificate of title, Volume 32, folio 97, Southland Registry.
Also all that area situated on the Cleddau Delta, Milford Sound Survey District, containing 14 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: commencing at a point at 44° 40′ 02·5″ south latitude and 167° 54′ 27·2″ east longitude; thence north-easterly on a bearing of 37° 34′ for 150 links; thence south-easterly on a bearing of 127° 34′ for 4665 links; thence south-westerly on a bearing of 217° 34′ for 300 links; thence north-westerly on a bearing of 307° 34′ for 4665 links; thence north-easterly on a bearing of 37° 34′ for 150 links to the point of commencement. As shown on the plan marked T.H.C./04 deposited in the Head Office of the Tourist Hotel Corporation of New Zealand at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Portions of Fiordland National Park.
