PAPATOETOE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

URSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe Borough Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-five thousand three hundred pounds (£25,300) authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of metalling and sealing unsealed streets in those areas added to the Borough as at the 1st day of October 1959, the said Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three even pence (.37d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Papatoetoe; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan repayable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of seven (7) years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

BOROUGH OF MANUREWA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

'URSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manurewa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £20,000 authorised to be raised by Manurewa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the current comprehensive sewerage reticulation of the borough, the said Manurewa Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one eight one eight pence (.1818d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Manurewa, comprising the whole of the Borough of Manurewa; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PATEA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

?URSUANT to the Local Authorities Act 1956, the Patea Borough Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £54,000 authorised to be raised by the Patea Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for erecting a new additional pump station, replacing the water tower with a new reservoir, and reticulating between the pump station and the reservoir and other areas, the said Patea Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 7·87276d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Patea, comprising the whole of the Borough of Patea; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

MOUNT HERBERT COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Herbert County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,500 authorised to be raised by the Mount Herbert County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a house property at Diamond Harbour for a staff member, the said Mount Herbert County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·0568 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable property within the special rating area, being the whole of the Mount Herbert County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WAIPATA-PATEAROA RABBIT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the powers conferred by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and every other power and authority it thereunto enabling the Waipiata-Patearoa Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Waipiata-Patearoa Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing accommodation for its employees, the said Waipiata-Patearoa Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·652785d. upon each acre of all rateable property in the Waipiata-Patearoa Rabbit Board District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Waipiata-Patearoa Rabbit Board on the 27th day of September 1961.

MANIOTOTO COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Ranfurly Aerodrome Loan 1961

PURSUANT to the powers conferred by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and every other power and authority it thereunto enabling, the Maniototo County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £3,500 authorised to be raised by the Maniototo County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and developing the same for the extension of the present aerodrome and to provide facilities and landing space for larger aircraft, the said Maniototo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·02044 pence in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the County of Maniototo; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 10 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Maniototo County Council on the 28th day of September 1961.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO STOP PIECES OF ROAD

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and in the matter of a proposal to stop pieces of road in the County of Bay of Islands.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to stop the pieces of road described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said pieces of road so proposed to be stopped is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated in Albert Street, Kawakawa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours from Thursday, 5 October 1961, until Thursday, 16 November 1961.

All persons objecting to the above proposal must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the Council on or before the 16th day of November 1961.
