NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 27th day of September 1961, presented to the said Court by Shell Oil New Zealand Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Wellington in the Dominion of New Zealand; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Auckland on the 27th day of October 1961, at 10 a.m.; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

APPLICATION has been made to the above company to issue a new certificate of title in lieu of original certificate No. 33909 issued in the name of Edna Mavis Smyth, of 2 Everest Street, Auckland, and the said Edna Mavis Smyth has made a statutory declaration that the original certificate of title has been lost.
Notice is hereby given that, unless within 30 days from the date hereof there is made to the company some claim or representation in respect of the said original certificate, a new certificate will be issued in place thereof.

PAPATOETOE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papatoetoe Borough Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing the cost of purchasing a house in Papatoetoe for use by a staff member, the said Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two one nine pence (·0219d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Papatoetoe; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan repayable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ninety thousand pounds (£90,000) authorised to be raised by the Papatoetoe Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing the cost of reconstructing streets and footpaths within the Borough, the said Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three four six nought two pence (·34602d.) in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Papatoetoe; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan repayable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until such loan is fully paid off.”
