HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Plimmerton-Paremata Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1961,
£231,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt
County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £231,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of reticulating for sewerage that portion of the
Plimmerton-Paremata District included in Hutt County Council
Special Rating Area No. 54A, the said Hutt County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 6·824d. in the
pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property
in the No. 54A Special Rating Area of the Taupo Riding of
the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at
the meeting of the Hutt County Council held on the 14th day
of September, 1961.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Stokes Valley Development Loan (No. 3) 1961, £65,000
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of sixty-five thousand pounds (£65,000)
authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of acquiring
land, constructing streets, and developing land for housing,
the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies
a special rate of one penny and seventy-nine thousandths of a
penny (1·079d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value
(on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property
in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan and be incorporated and added to the consolidated
special rate made, pursuant to the provisions of section 108A
of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly
on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of 8 years,
or until the loan is paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on the
18th day of September 1961.

GOLDEN BAY COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Staff Housing Loan 1961, £12,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Golden Bay County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Golden Bay
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of purchasing or erecting housing for staff and purchasing
land incidental thereto, the said Golden Bay County
Council hereby makes a special rate of nineteen sixty-fourths
of one penny (19/64d.) in the pound upon the rateable
value (on a basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property of the County of Golden Bay; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly
passed at a meeting of the Golden Bay County Council held
on the 12th day of September 1961.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the Matter of the Public Works Act 1928
Notice is hereby given, under the provisions of the Public
Works Act 1928, that the Whangarei County Council proposes,
under the provisions of the said Act, to take the piece of
land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice
is hereby further given that a plan of the piece of land
required to be taken is deposited in the office of the said
Council, situated in Rose Street, Whangarei, and is open for
inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office
hours.
All persons affected by the taking of such land who have
any well grounded objections to the taking of the said land
must lodge their objections in writing and send the same

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A RECREATION
GROUND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments
and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to
execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation
of a recreation ground passing through or adjoining the
parcel of land referred to in the Schedule hereunder and
situated in the Titirangi County Town portion of Titirangi
Riding of the County of Waitemata; and for the purpose of
such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given
that the plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited
in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council situated
in the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland,
and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons
during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land must state their
objection in writing and send the same, within forty (40)
days from the first publication of this notice, to the County
Clerk at the Council Chambers.

and the Counties Act 1956, to execute a public work, namely,
the establishment of a depot, and for that purpose to take
the land described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to be
taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk
of the said Council in Miriama Street, Taumarunui, and is
there open for inspection and that all persons affected should,
if they have any well grounded objections to the execution
of the said work or to the taking of the land, set forth the
same in writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication
of this notice, to the County Clerk at his office as aforesaid.
