RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Town Offices Loan 1961, £7,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Murupara Town District Council held on the 12th day of September 1961, the following resolution was passed:
That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Murupara Town District Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Town Offices Loan 1961 of £7,000 authorised to be raised by the Murupara Town District Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting and furnishing Town Council offices, the said Murupara Town District Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one five two of one penny (·152d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Town District of Murupara; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 8th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Municipal Hall Completion Loan 1961, £6,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Murupara Town District Council held on the 12th day of September 1961, the following resolution was passed.
That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Murupara Town District Council resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Municipal Hall Completion Loan 1961 of £6,000 authorised to be raised by the Murupara Town District Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of erecting a municipal hall, the said Murupara Town District Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one three of one penny (·13d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (based on the capital value) of all rateable property in the Town District of Murupara; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 8th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wainuiomata Sewage Treatment Works Extension Loan, 1961, £102,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £102,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the existing Wainuiomata Sewage Treatment Works to serve an additional 12,000 persons, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1·32d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 55B Special Rating Area of the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Conversion Loan 1961 (No. 1), £11,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £11,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying a portion of the Wainuiomata Sewage Treatment Loan 1954, of £125,000, maturing on the 1st day of September 1961, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·18d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 55 Special Rating Area, being portion of the Wainuiomata Riding of the Hutt County, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £50,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for upgrading and sealing roads and footpaths and the construction of kerbing and channelling in the Wainuiomata Riding, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·743d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 23 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £3,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying a portion of the Petone Overbridge Loan 1954, of £6,000, maturing on the 1st day of September, 1961, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0·031d. in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Eastern Bays, Epuni, Heretaunga, Mangaroa, and Wainuiomata Ridings of the Hutt County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
