HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Authorising the Murchison County Council to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 30th day of August 1961
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
LICENCE

  1. Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Murchison County Council (hereinafter referred to as the licensee) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
  2. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
  3. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.
  4. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
  5. This licence, unless sooner lawfully determined, shall continue in force until the 18th day of January 1963.
    SCHEDULE
    LINES for the transmission and supply of electrical energy within the following areas of supply:
    (1) Blocks VII and XIV, Maruia Survey District; Blocks II, III, IV, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, XII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Burnett Survey District; Blocks II, III, IV, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, XII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Rahu Survey District; Blocks II, III, IV, VII, and VIII, Lewis Survey District. The said area being shown outlined in red on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 572 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
    (2) Blocks XI, XIII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Tutaki Survey District; Blocks I, II, III, and IV, Matakaitaki Survey District; Block I, Sabine Survey District; Blocks I, II, III, IV, V, and VI, Matiri Survey District; Blocks I and V, Hope Survey District. The said areas being shown outlined in red on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 573 deposited as aforesaid.

PURSUANT to section 5 of the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act 1929, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Waimate Aerodrome Order 1961.
  2. Consent is hereby given to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome by the Waimate County Council on the land described in the Schedule hereto.
    SCHEDULE
    ALL that land comprising 185 acres, more or less, being Reserves No. 2696 and 2697 and part Reserves No. 1848 and 2814 and part of the Waihao River Bed situated in Block III, Waitaki Survey District, and outlined in black on a plan held in the office of the Waimate County Council.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 5 of the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act 1929, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Tauranga Aerodrome Order 1961.
  2. Consent is hereby given to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome by the Tauranga Borough Council on the land described in the Schedule hereto.
    SCHEDULE
    ALL that land comprising 175 acres, more or less, being Omanu Blocks 12A No. 1, 2B, 1 to 3, and western part of Ohuki Block 1c No. 1 and Whareroa Block 2A 2 situated in Blocks VII and XI, Tauranga Survey District.

Robert Anthony Leighton Batley, of Moawhango, in place of John Duncan Henry Buchanan, M.A., B.SC., of Wanganui, deceased.
