yard Bay, Kawau Island, as a Site for a Wharf

At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of
August 1961

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee,
hereby revokes, as from 1 February 1961, the Order in Council
of the 29th day of February 1956, published in the Gazette of
8 March 1956, page 303, licensing Arthur Edward Grey to
use and occupy a part of the foreshore at Stockyard Bay,
Kawau Island, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9997 and
deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Welling-
ton, for the purpose of maintaining a wharf thereon.

PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the
district valuation rolls for the districts enumerated in the
Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at
1 September 1961.
SCHEDULE
Boroughs—Eltham, Havelock North, Motueka, Papakura,
Runanga, Taradale, Tawa, Upper Hutt, Waipukurau,
Waiuku.
Town Districts—Kamo, Waverley.
County—Coromandel.

Exempting Land in the South Auckland Land District from the
Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925
COBHAM, Governor-General
PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the
Governor-General hereby gives the following notice:
NOTICE
THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted
from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land containing 1,072 acres 1 rood 16·6
perches, more or less, being parts Sections 3, 6, and 7,
Block X, Newcastle Survey District, Allotments 149, 150, 151,
and parts Allotments 144 to 148 (both inclusive), 152 to 157
(both inclusive), N158, S158, NE159, S159, E160, 210, 214,
and 224, Waipa Parish, situated in Blocks VI and X, New-
castle Survey District, and being part of the lands in certifi-
cates of title, Volume 67, folio 180; Volume 72, folio 44;
Volume 420, folios 55 and 56; Volume 883, folio 298; as
shown on the plan marked Mines 11/12/1 deposited in the
Head Office of the Mines Department at Wellington, and
thereon edged red (S.O. Plans 32122, 32124, 32126, 37600,
37602, 39284, and 40188), but exempting therefrom all coal,
fireclay, and other minerals.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
this 24th day of August 1961.
