Declaring an Access Way to be Vested in the Corporation of the Borough of Feilding and to be Under the Control and Management of the Feilding Borough Council

At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of August 1961
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Feilding and be under the control and management of the Feilding Borough Council.

SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 7·64 perches situated in the Borough of Feilding, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 78, D.P. 20573, being part Subdivision A, Manchester District. Part certificate of title, Volume 682, folio 65, Wellington Land Registry.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block I, Takapau Survey District, Rotorua County, to be County Road

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of road situated in Block I, Takapau Survey District, Rotorua County, commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 6 of the aforesaid Block I and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 155 chains.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3552 (S.O. 39704) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.

Approving the Term of the Licence Granted to Farm Products Cooperative (Tararua) Ltd. for a Tramway Across a Street in the Borough of Levin

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Tramways Act 1908 and the Tramways Amendment Act 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves the term of the licence granted for a period of 21 years from the 1st day of July 1961 by the Levin Borough Council to Farm Products Cooperative (Tararua) Ltd., a duly registered company having its registered office at Masterton, authorising the said company to maintain a private tramway along and across Cambridge Street in the Borough of Levin, the position of such tramway being more particularly shown on the plan marked M.O.W. 3518 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Conferring the Powers of a Tribal Executive Upon a Tribal Committee

PURSUANT to section 7 of the Maori Purposes Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby confers upon the Ngati Whiti-tama Tribal Committee all the powers conferred upon a tribal executive by the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, including the power to make bylaws, notwithstanding the provisions of section 19 or section 20 of that Act.

Varying an Order in Council Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies an Order in Council made on 18 February 1942 and published in Gazette on 26 February 1942, Volume I, page 592, and affecting the Maori freehold land known as Omahu 2r Block, by reducing the area of the said reservation to 4 acres and 23 perches, such reduced area being described and delineated as "Marae Reserve" on the plan marked M.A. 21/3/116 lodged in the Head Office of the Department of Maori Affairs at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1933, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Reserve Bank of New Zealand to make from time to time unsecured loans or advances to any bank carrying on the business of banking in New Zealand, for a period not exceeding three months at any one time in respect of any such loan or advance.
