HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

1. (1) This order may be cited as the Hunterville Rabbit
   District Order 1961.
   (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
   date of its notification in the Gazette.
2. The boundaries of the Hunterville Rabbit District, which
   was constituted by Order in Council on the 8th day of
   December 1924, are hereby altered and redefined and, as
   from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the
   said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
   SCHEDULE
   BOUNDARIES OF THE HUNTERVILLE RABBIT DISTRICT
   ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, County of
   Rangitikei, containing 216,300 acres, more or less, bounded
   by a line commencing at a point in the middle of Turakina
   River in line with the northern boundary of Section 9, Block I,
   Tiriraukawa Survey District; thence easterly to and along
   the northern boundaries of that section and Section 14, Block I,
   Tiriraukawa Survey District, and the production of the last-
   mentioned boundary to the middle of the Karetu North
   Road; thence southerly generally along the middle of that
   road to a point in line with the northern boundary of
   Section 1, Block II, Tiriraukawa Survey District; thence south-
   easterly to and along that boundary to the western boundary
   of Section 11, Block II, Tiriraukawa Survey District; thence
   northerly and easterly along the western and northern
   boundaries of that section and the production of the last-
   mentioned boundary to the middle of the Mangamahoe Road;
   thence northerly generally along the middle of that road to
   a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 15,

   along that boundary to its north-eastern corner; thence

   road and the Taheke East Road to the middle of the
   Mangapapa Stream; thence southerly generally down the
   middle of that stream to a point in line with the north-eastern
   boundary of Run 32, Block VII, Tiriraukawa Survey District;
   thence south-easterly generally to and along that boundary and
   the north-eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 465, and the
   production of that boundary across the Murimotu Road to
   and along the north-eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block
   XII, Tiriraukawa Survey District, Lots 6 and 7, D.P. 465,
   Lots 3 and 2, D.P. 14483, Lot 8, D.P. 465, Lot 1, D.P. 14483,
   and Pouwhakarua 1E 2A and its production to and along the
   centre line of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, being
   the south-western boundary of the Town District of
   Mangaweka, as described in Gazette, 1910, page 969, to a
   point at the north end of the Mangaweka Tunnel and along
   a line due east to the middle of the Rangitikei River; thence
   south-westerly generally down the middle of that river to
   the middle of the Greatford-Ashhurst road (Kakariki Road);
   thence north-westerly generally along the middle of that
   road, the Horopito-Bulls road (Cliff Road), the Crofton
   Road, the Makirikiri Road, the Neumanns Road, the
   Turakina-Cliff road (Bonny Glen Road), and the Hamilton-
   Woodville via New Plymouth State Highway No. 3 to the
   middle of the Turakina River; thence north-easterly generally
   up the middle of that river to the point of commencement.
