Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Kingston Rabbit District Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Kingston Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 29th day of January 1957,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE KINGSTON RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Southland and Otago Land Districts and the Counties of Lake, Southland, and Vincent containing 245,500 acres more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of part Run 331, South Wakatipu Survey District, being the mouth of Staircase Creek on the shore of Lake Wakatipu and proceeding north-easterly generally along the boundary between “Kawarau Falls” Station and “Loch Linnhe” Station to the summit of Ben Nevis; thence southerly generally along the western boundary of Run 345A to the summit of James Peak; thence easterly generally along the southern boundary of Run 345A and its production to the middle of the Nevis River; thence south-westerly up the middle of the Nevis River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Run 339E; thence easterly generally to and along the southern boundaries of Run 339E and Run 339F to the north-western boundary of Run 548; thence south-westerly generally along the north-western boundary of Run 548 to the northern boundary of Block III, Garvie Survey District; thence westerly along that boundary and generally south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Garvie Survey District and its production to the right bank of the Mataura River; thence north-westerly, north-easterly, and again north-westerly along the right bank of the Mataura River to its source; thence northerly along a right line to Eyre Peak; thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of Run 555 to the southern boundary of the part Run 6 included in “Halfway Bay” Station; thence generally easterly along that boundary and the southern boundary of the part Run 420A included in “Halfway Bay” Station to the western shore of Lake Wakatipu; thence southerly and northerly generally along the shore of Lake Wakatipu to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Mid Wakatipu Rabbit District Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Mid Wakatipu Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of September, 1952,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE MID WAKATIPU RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, Lake, Southland, and Wallace Counties, containing by estimation 237,990 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the western shore of Lake Wakatipu and the southern boundary of Run 350A; thence proceeding south-easterly generally along that western shore to the boundary between Greenvale and Halfway Bay Stations; thence westerly generally along the northern boundaries of the parts of Run 420A and Run 6 included in Greenvale Station, to the Long Burn being also the north-western boundary of Run 6; thence south-westerly generally along the north-western boundaries of Runs 6, 420A, 418, 527, 547, and part Run 509 to the north-eastern boundary of Run 391; thence north-westerly and south-westerly generally along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Run 391 to the eastern boundary of Run 568; thence northerly and easterly along the eastern boundaries of Runs 568 and 567 and State forest and the southern boundaries of Run 350A to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Lillburn Rabbit District Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Lillburn Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 21st day of September 1949,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE LILLBURN RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Southland Land District containing by estimation 451,500 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams and bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the sea coast and the left bank of Big River being a point on the boundary of the Fiordland National Park as described in the Fifth Schedule to the National Parks Act 1952 and amended by Gazette, 1956, p. 1607; thence proceeding north-easterly generally along the Fiordland National Park boundary to the northern boundary of Block VIII, Monowai Survey District; thence westerly generally along the northern boundary of the said Block VIII to the eastern shore of Lake Monowai; thence north-westerly generally along the said eastern shore, across the mouth of the Monowai River and along the northern shore of Lake Monowai to a point in line with the north-western side of Lake Road; thence north-easterly to and along the said north-western side and along the western boundary of Run 463 to Trig. Station D, Block VI, Monowai Survey District, being a point on the boundary of Fiordland National Park as described in the Fifth Schedule to the National Parks Act 1952; thence north-easterly along the boundary of Fiordland National Park to a point in line with the right bank of Redcliff Creek at its confluence with the Waiau River; thence easterly by a right line to and along the right bank of the Redcliff Creek to the south-eastern boundary of Run 415A 1; thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the said Run 415A 1 to the south-eastern corner thereof; thence south-easterly generally along a right line to the source of Spence Burn; thence north-easterly generally along the left bank of the Spence Burn to the western boundary of the Wairaki Survey District; thence south-westerly and southerly along the western boundary of Wairaki Survey District to the right bank of the Wairaki River; thence south-westerly generally along the right bank to its confluence with the Waiau River; thence by a right line across the Waiau River to the right bank thereof; thence south-westerly generally along that right bank to the sea coast; thence south-westerly generally along the sea coast to the point of commencement.
