HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Mount Benger Rabbit District Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Mount Benger Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 27th day of September 1921,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE MOUNT BENDER RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Counties of Tuapeka, Vincent, and Southland, and the Borough of Roxburgh containing 57,600 acres, more or less, commencing at the westernmost corner of Run 500, Teviot Survey District, and proceeding generally easterly along the northern boundary of that run and its production to the right (western) bank of the Clutha River; thence generally southerly along that bank to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 86, Block I, Benger Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary, and south-westerly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 8, Block I aforesaid, to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 1132R, Block I aforesaid; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary to the north-eastern boundary of Section 17s, Westcott Settlement; thence generally north-westerly along that boundary to the northernmost corner of that section; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 17s and 18s, Westcott Settlement, to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence north-westerly and generally westerly along the north-eastern and northern boundaries of Run 592A to the north-eastern side of Mount Benger Road; thence generally north-westerly along the north-eastern side of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Run 592A; thence north-westerly to and along the north-eastern boundary of that run and north-westerly and generally south-westerly along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Run 592 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Pomahaka River; thence generally northerly up the middle of that river to its junction with the generally western boundary of the Otago Land District as described in Gazette, 1955, page 676; thence generally northerly along that boundary to the northernmost corner of Run 425c; thence generally south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of that run to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Te Anau Rabbit District Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Te Anau Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 20th day of March 1957,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE TE ANAU RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Southland and Otago Land Districts, Wallace and Lake Counties, containing by estimation 740,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the outlet of the Clinton River into Lake Te Anau and proceeding southerly along the eastern shore of Lake Te Anau and the left bank of the Waiau River to the eastern shore of Lake Manapouri; thence westerly generally along the northern shore of Lake Manapouri to the eastern boundary of Fiord County as described in the Counties Act 1876; thence south-westerly along that boundary to Crescent Mountain; thence south-easterly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Run 463 and the production of that line to the left bank of the Waiau River; thence north-easterly along the left bank of the Waiau River to its confluence with the Mararoa River; thence north-westerly across the mouth of the Mararoa River to the right bank thereof; thence north-easterly generally along the right bank of the Mararoa River to a point in line with the left bank of the Princhester Creek; thence southerly to and along the left bank of the Princhester Creek to the northern side of a public road forming the northern boundary of Section 191, Block V, Takitimu Survey District; thence easterly along the northern side of the said public road and the northern boundary of the said Section 191 to the western boundary of Run 564; thence northerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of Run 564 to the western boundary of Run 565; thence southerly along the western boundary of Run 565 to the south-western corner thereof; thence southerly along a right line to the northernmost point of Run 198c; thence easterly generally along the northern boundary of the Hamilton Burn Rabbit District as described in the Gazette, 1955, page 61, to the western boundary of the Five Rivers Rabbit District as described in the Gazette, 1958, page 358; thence northerly along the western boundaries of the said Five Rivers Rabbit District to the north-western corner thereof; thence again northerly along the eastern boundaries of Runs 568 and 567 to the right bank of the Greenstone River; thence north-westerly generally along the right bank of the Greenstone River and the McKellar Branch to Lake McKellar; thence northerly along the western shore of Lake McKellar to its northernmost point; thence northerly along a right line to the southernmost point of Lake Howden; thence northerly along the western shore of Lake Howden to the outlet of Pass Creek; thence north-westerly along a right line to Mount Macpherson; thence southerly along a right line to the point of commencement.

ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Kawarau Rabbit District Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Kawarau Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 3rd day of August 1949,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE KAWARAU RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District and Counties of Lake and Vincent containing 126,800 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at James Peak at the south-western corner of Run 345A, Nevis Survey District, and proceeding generally northerly along the western boundary of Run 345A to Ben Nevis; thence generally south-westerly along the boundary between “Kawarau Falls” Station and “Loch Linnhe” Station to the mouth of Staircase Creek on the eastern shore of Lake Wakatipu; thence generally northerly along the eastern shore of that lake and generally north-easterly along the south-eastern shore of Frankton Arm to the north-western side of the Kawarau Falls Bridge; thence north-easterly along the north-western side of that bridge to the middle of the Kawarau River; thence generally easterly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of the Nevis River; thence generally south-westerly to and up the middle of that river to a point in line with south-western boundary of Run 345A; thence generally north-westerly to and along that boundary to the point of commencement.
