Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, his Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby proclaims and declares that the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purpose of clearing noxious weeds; and that the said land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua as from the 21st day of September 1961.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 25 acres 2 roods 34 perches situated in Block VIII, Waitohu Survey District, Wellington R.D., being ungranted land adjoining Kahukura No. 1, Pukerarauhi No. 1, Katihiku 1B, Ngakaroro 3F 1, and parts Ngakaroro 3F and 5E; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1920 (S.O. 24591) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the 13th day of July 1960, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the southern side of the portion of Wigan Street adjoining part Section 133, Town of Wellington, being all (or part) of the land in certificate of title, Volume 333, folio 283, Wellington Registry, as is more particularly delineated on the plan annexed hereto.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
THE southern side of all that portion of street situated in the City of Wellington, known as Wigan Street, fronting part Section 133, Town of Wellington; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W 2683 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Queenstown Borough Council on the 5th day of December 1960, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the sides and portion of streets described in the Second Schedule hereto, subject to the conditions that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the south-eastern side of the portion of Beach Street, first described in the said Second Schedule, within a distance of 4 ft 6 in. from the side line of the said portion of street and the land fronting the corner of the said Beach Street and Rees Street, the said Rees Street, being secondly described in the said Second Schedule, within a distance of 15 ft across the corner of the side lines of the said streets.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Queenstown Borough Council, having control of the streets in the Borough of Queenstown, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the south-eastern side of Beach Street and the north-eastern side of Rees Street fronting sections 26, 27, 28A, 28B, and 29, Block I, Town of Queenstown, and being the land in certificates of title, Volume 55, folio 75, Volume 12, folio 208, Volume 139, folio 93, Volume 23, folio 118, and Volume 219, folio 211, Otago Land Registry.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE south-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, Borough of Queenstown, known as Beach Street, fronting Lots 27, 28A, 28B, and 29, Block I, Town of Queenstown.
The north-eastern side of all that portion of street situated in the Otago Land District, Borough of Queenstown, known as Rees Street, fronting Lots 26 and 27, Block I, Town of Queenstown.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2908 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the 15th day of August 1960, and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the portions of the streets described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Dunedin City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Dunedin, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the southern side of Hillside Road and the eastern side of Rankeilor Street fronting Lots 1 and 2 and Lot 1, D.P. 54, respectively, being part Block XI, D.P. 54, and part section 8, Block VII, Town District, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 39, folio 200.
SECOND SCHEDULE
THE southern side of all that portion of Hillside Road in the City of Dunedin fronting Lots 1 and 2, Block IX, D.P. 54, being part Section 8, Block VII, Town District.
The eastern side of all that portion of Rankeilor Street in the City of Dunedin fronting Lot 1, D.P. 54, Block VII, Town District.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2322 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
