A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 5·3 perches situated in Block VII, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being Lot 45, L.T. 49125. Part certificates of title, Volume 964, folio 46, and Volume 964, folio 47, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of July 1961.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of road situated in Block XVII, Lowry Peaks Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Adjoining of passing through
0 0 8·5 Part Lot 2 of Section 1, and railway land.
5 2 23 Part Lot 2 of Section 1, Crown land and railway land.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3292 (S.O. 9831) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Amending the Middle Line of a Motorway in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham the Governor-General of New Zealand do hereby revoke, as to the middle line defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto, the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 9th day of April 1953 and published in Gazette, 1953, Volume I, page 611, defining the middle line of a portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of a portion of the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall affect only the land situated within the limits shown coloured red on the plan marked M.O.W. 2965 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

COMMENCING at a point on the southern boundary of the North Island Main Trunk Railway Marked “A” at a distance 13 miles 74 chains on Middle Line Proclamation 13781 shown on P.W.D. Plan 139782, being 210 links distant south-east of the north-eastern corner of part Lot 2, D.P. 41239, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 34·70 chains via the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway and terminating at a point marked “B” on the north-western boundary of Lot 9, D.P. 390 (C.T. 293/100); at 1645 links distant from the south-western side of the Awanui-Bluff State Highway, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, streets, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; as the same is more particularly delineated on Plan marked M.O.W. 2965 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 12th day of July 1961.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 7th day of October 1930, and published in Gazette, 9 October 1930, Volume III, page 3123, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.
