The Lincoln High School Board of Governors Order 1961

At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of July 1961
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 90 of the Education Act 1914, as amended by section 10 of the Education Amendment Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Lincoln High School Board of Governors Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of October 1961. -
The constitution of the Board of Governors of the Lincoln High School, prescribed by section 90 of the Education Act 1914, is hereby varied so that the school shall be controlled by a Board of Governors constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Canterbury Education Board:
(b) Six members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school:
(c) One member appointed by the Governor-General:
(d) One member appointed by the Springs County Council:
(e) One member appointed by the Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln:
(f) One member appointed by the Old Pupilsβ Association of the school.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Rangitata Rabbit District Order 1961.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The boundaries of the Rangitata Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 27th day of August 1952,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE RANGITATA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Counties of Geraldine and Ashburton and the Borough of Geraldine, containing 130,500 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in line with the middle of Macaulays Road, Block IV, Arowhenua Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly generally to and along the middle lines of that road, Rise Road, Awanui-Bluff No. 1 State Highway, Woodend-Winchester (via Waimakariri Gorge) No. 72 State Highway, Tipladys Road, Rangitata-Fairlie No. 79 State Highway, Pyes Road, Youngs Road, a road forming the northern boundaries of Rural Sections 18568 and 12840, Downs Road, Guilfords Road, Martins Road, Taylors Road to the middle of Sercombes Road; thence easterly along the middle of that road to the middle of Woodbury Road; thence north-westerly generally along the middle lines of that road, Waihi Gorge Road, Ribys Road, and the production of the last-mentioned road to the middle of the Waihi River; thence south-easterly along the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of a road forming the western boundary of Section 10, Tripp Settlement; thence north-easterly generally to and along the middle lines of that road, Clarks Road, and Yates Road to the middle of Orari Gorge Road; thence northerly along the middle of a road passing through Section 28, Tripp Settlement, to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 28, Tripp Settlement; thence north-easterly generally to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Orari River; thence north-westerly along the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of a road forming the southern boundary of Rural Section 32299, Block V, Orari Survey District; thence north-easterly to and along the middle of that road and Boundary Road to the middle of Blairs Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to the middle of a road passing through Reserve 1478 and forming the western boundary of Rural Sections 27484, 30336, 19332, Reserve 1554, part Rural Section 6057, and Lot 1, D.P. 9546, and the northern boundary of the said Lot 1; thence northerly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Rural Section 6171; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary to its westernmost corner; thence along a right line to the southernmost corner of Rural Section 6594; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Rural Sections 6594 and 7159 and its production to the middle of a road forming the northern boundary of the last-mentioned section; thence easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Reserve 2276 (Peel Forest Park); thence northerly and westerly to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of the said reserve and the northern boundary of part Rural Section 30851 to the eastern boundary of Reserve 4019; thence northerly along that boundary to the southern boundary of Reserve 4203; thence easterly generally along the southern boundary of that reserve, the western and southern boundaries of Reserves 4202 and 3797, the western boundary of Reserve 4218, and again along the southern boundaries of Reserve 3797 to the south-eastern corner of that reserve; thence along a right line to the south-western corner of Reserve 3899; thence along the southern boundary of that reserve and its production to the middle of Peel Forest Road; thence northerly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the northernmost boundary of Reserve 3796; thence easterly along the production of that boundary to the middle of the Rangitata River; thence southerly along the middle of that river to the Woodend-Winchester (via Waimakariri Gorge) No. 72 State Highway; thence easterly along the middle of that State highway to the middle of Rangitata River Road; thence south-easterly generally along the middle lines of that road, Ealing-Coldstream Road, Hinds-Rangitata Mouth Road, and the production of the last middle line to the south-eastern side of Lower Beach Road; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Rural Section 23552; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of that section and its production to the sea coast; thence south-westerly along the sea coast to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE FOUR PEAKS RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Counties of Geraldine, Mackenzie, and Ashburton, Canterbury Land District, containing 359,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of Firewood Stream and the Opihi River, Block XIII, Opuha Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly up the middle of Firewood Stream to Tekapo Saddle on the Two Thumb Range; thence northerly generally along the summit of the Two Thumb Range to and along the eastern boundary of Run 77A to the south-western boundary of Pastoral Run 110A (Mesopotamia); thence south-easterly and north-easterly generally along that boundary to and along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Pastoral Run 241 (Ben McLeod) to the south-western corner of Rural Section 36722; thence south-easterly generally along the southern boundary of Rural Section 36722 and the south-western boundaries of Rural Sections 36723, 36724, Pastoral Run 251, Rural Section 36720, and the western boundary of Run 3 (Mount Peel) to the south-western corner of the said Run 3; thence easterly along the southern boundary of that run to the western boundary of Reserve 3796; thence northerly and easterly along the
