Land Taken for a Road in Block VIII, Drury Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 17th day of July 1961.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 11·6 perches situated in Block VIII, Drury Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part land on D.P. 21535, being part Allotments 38 and 258, Parish of Opaheke; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3175 (S.O. 42789) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of July 1961.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as street the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and also hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

Land Proclaimed as Street

ALL those pieces of land situated in the City of Wellington Wellington R.D., described as follows:

0 0 3·69 Part land on Plan A/1711, being part Section 677, Town of Wellington.
0 0 2·88 Parts Sections 677 and 741, Town of Wellington, part being part land on D.P. 3061.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3059 (S.O. 24641) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

Street Closed

ALL that piece of street containing 1·39 perches situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., adjoining land on Plan A/1711, and Lot 1, D.P. 18594, being part Section 677, Town of Wellington; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 3059 (S.O. 24641) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 13th day of March 1931 and published in Gazette, 19 March 1931, Volume I, page 622, defining the middle line of a road in Blocks I, V, IX, X, XIV, and XV, Tarawera Survey District, and Block III, Paeroa Survey District, viz., portion of the Rotorua-Taupo road, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land containing together 3 roods 7·1 perches situated in the Borough of Rotorua, being Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. S. 1174, being Sections 3, 4, and 5, Block XLVIII, Town of Rotorua. All certificates of title, Volume 799, folio 118, Volume 799, folio 125, and Volume 799, folio 126, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of June 1961.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT — AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY

SECTIONS 9 and 10, Block I, Sections 8 and 9, Block II, and Section 8, Block IV, Moehau Survey District (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1920, page 923): Area, 5,343 acres, more or less. As shown on plan No. 18/13 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 39754.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of June 1961.
