A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
Lot 1, D.P. S. 5709, being part Section 5, and Sections 4 and 21, Block VI, Pirongia Survey District: Area, 941 acres 1 rood 30 perches, more or less. As shown on plan No. 36/20 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 39622 and 13946.)

Declaring an Area of Land in the North Canterbury Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the North Canterbury Acclimatisation District for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the western shore of the estuary of the Avon and Heathcote Rivers and in line with the south-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 20268L, and proceeding north-westerly and north-easterly to and along the south-western and north-western boundaries of that lot and its production to the north-eastern side of Ruru Road; thence north-westerly along that roadside to the south-eastern boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 8686, contained in Proclamation No. 353099; thence north-easterly and north-westerly along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of that part lot to the south-eastern side of Cuthbert’s Road; thence north-easterly and south-easterly along that roadside and the south-western side of Breezes Road and the production of the last-mentioned roadside to the western shore of the estuary of the Avon and Heathcote Rivers; thence southerly along that shore to the point of commencement. (Christchurch Drainage Board, owners.) As shown on the plan marked I.A. 52/508 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Tauranga County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Campbell Street in the Borough of Havelock North, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Havelock North Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked M.O.W. 2880 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 15 ft, from the side line of the said street.

THAT proposed street containing 1 rood 25·8 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being part Lot 16, D.P. 1256, part Suburban Section 7, Havelock.
