HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto by way of loan of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Vesting Reclaimed Land in Bluff Harbour in the Southland Harbour Board

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Bluff Harbour Improvement Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby grants to and vests in the Southland Harbour Board the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land reclaimed pursuant to the aforesaid Act.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT
SECTION 41, Block I, Campbelltown Hundred, and Sections 7–12 (both inclusive), Block XXIII, Town of Campbelltown: Total area of 102 acres 3 roods 25·2 perches, more or less, as shown on Survey Office Plans marked 6575 and 6741.

Exempting Coal Lease and Sublease in the Westland Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE
THE lease and sublease described in the Schedule hereto are hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

SCHEDULE

LEASE, dated 20 May 1943, registered in the office of the District Land Registrar at Hokitika as No. 3524, Wallsend Taylorville Estates Ltd. to Her Majesty the Queen.

Sublease, dated 24 September 1930, of coal lease, registered in the office of the Mining Registrar at Greymouth as No. 48/21, Wallsend Taylorville Estates Ltd. to Her Majesty the Queen.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 20th day of May 1961.

Owen Hope Greet, B.A., is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Flying Officer with seniority from 12 January 1960, with effect from 12 December 1960.
