Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road Between Matawai and Moutohora

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road and that the said road shall be under the control of the Waikohu County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of June 1961.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 32·1 perches situated in Block I, Invercargill Hundred, City of Invercargill, being Section 45. Part certificate of title, Volume 133, folio 164, Southland Land Registry.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of a public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for an automatic telephone exchange; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of June 1961.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 4·6 perches situated in Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District, Auckland R.D., being part Section 31A; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2815 (S.O. 42713) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, now held for defence purposes, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, now held for post office purposes (line depot), is hereby set apart for a hospital; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of June 1961.
