WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL

SECURITY RATE

Wairarapa Riding Land Purchase and Development Loan 1961, £60,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £60,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and constructing a road between Ilam and Waimairi Roads, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·320726d. (pence) in the (£) pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the special-rating area comprising the whole of the Wairarapa Riding of the Waimairi County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL

Wairarapa Riding Works Loan 1961, £16,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £16,000 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing and sealing roads and constructing kerbing and channelling, the said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·056195d. (pence) in the (£) pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the special-rating area comprising the whole of the Wairarapa Riding of the Waimairi County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TE AROHA BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Notification of Revision of District Planning Scheme

ALL concerned are advised that the Te Aroha Borough Council resolved on the 21st day of March 1961 that the district planning scheme previously recommended by the Borough Council on 16 December 1958, and certified to by the Minister of Works on 9 October 1959, is being revised and that inspection and a right of objection will be announced as soon as the revision is completed.

Notification of Resolution to Prepare District Scheme

Public notice is hereby given that the Te Aroha Borough Council, at its meeting held on the 21st day of March 1961, has resolved to prepare for the Te Aroha Borough a district scheme as required by the provision of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person concerned and every local authority in the district as defined by section 2 of the Act is hereby invited to submit full information as to the proposals (including public works) which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the scheme.

Proposals marked “Te Aroha District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 30th day of September 1961.

BOROUGH OF ASHBURTON

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Variation to District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to resolutions of the Ashburton Borough Council made on 5 September 1960 and 7 November 1960, the following variations have been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to Lots 1 to 4, inclusive, D.P. 18524, Bryant Street, and parts Lots 215 and 216, D.P. 91, Melcombe Street, at present zoned Industrial “B” and proposed to be rezoned to Industrial “C”, and part T.S. 328, corner of Moore and Cass Streets, proposed rezoning from Residential “A” to Commercial “C”.

Part plans of the Ashburton Borough District Scheme relating to the above alteration have been deposited in the Municipal Chambers, Havelock Street, Ashburton, and the Public Library, Havelock Street, Ashburton, in accordance with section 22 (1) of that Act and are there for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 25 August 1961. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.
