Revocation of Appointment of Wedderburn Domain Board and Appointment of New Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the appointment of the Wedderburn Domain Board, as published in Gazette, 28 March 1956, Volume I, page 442, and appoints the Maniototo County Council to be the Wedderburn Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain on and from 1 April 1961.

Port Safety Inspector Appointed

PURSUANT to section 241 (1) of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Richard Geoffrey Gerard, Minister of Marine, do hereby appoint

Howard Brammer

to be a Port Safety Inspector, having the powers conferred on an Inspector of Gear by the General Harbour (Safe Working Load) Regulations 1935, and the powers conferred on a Surveyor of Ships by those regulations and by the General Harbour Regulations 1954, except in respect of any lifting machinery or hoist or other cargo-handling machine or winch.
