Town and Country Planning Act 1953-Marlborough County Council (Notice of Extension of Period of Effectiveness of Prohibition)

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 38 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, notice is hereby given that the period of effectiveness of the prohibition made by the Marlborough County Council relating to the subdivision of that area of land in the Marlborough County, being Lot 1, D.P. 2350, part Section 41, Opawa, Block XVI, Cloudy Bay S.D., is hereby extended to the 1st day of June 1962.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Dedication as a Street

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Te Kuiti Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for aerodrome purposes and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Te Kuiti, in trust, for that purpose, subject to the terms of an agreement between Her Majesty the Queen and the Te Kuiti Borough Council dated the 1st day of May 1960, a copy of which is deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington as Auckland Deed No. 5462.

Licensing Harvey Timber Ltd. to use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore and Bed of the Sea at Manaroa, Pelorus Sound, as a Site for a Jetty

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Harvey Timber Ltd., of Manaroa (hereinafter called the "licensee", which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Manaroa, Pelorus Sound, as shown on plan marked M.D. 10940 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a jetty thereon as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, as far as applicable, apply hereto.

2. The premium payable by the licensee shall be five pounds (£5), and the annual sum so payable ten pounds (£10).

3. The master of every vessel discharging ballast at the said jetty shall have all such ballast taken away and deposited above high-water mark or at such place as may be approved by the Minister or by any person appointed by the Minister for that purpose.

4. The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of May 1961.

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Minister of Agriculture hereby publishes the following resolution passed by the Macraes Rabbit Board on the 4th day of May 1961.

"THAT, pursuant to section 25 of the Rabbits Act 1955, the number of elective members of the Board shall be increased to seven (7)."
