TAKAPUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Takapuna Concrete Footpaths Loan, Ward B, £8,000, 1960
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna Borough Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Concrete Footpaths Loan, Ward B, £8,000, 1960, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna Borough Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of constructing concrete footpaths in Ward B of the Borough of Takapuna, the Takapuna Borough Council makes a special rate of decimal two one of a penny in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in Ward B of the Borough of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council held on the 21st day of February 1961.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Takapuna Sewerage Loan, Ward B (No. 1), £2,600, 1960
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna Borough Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Sewerage Loan, Ward B (No. 1), 1960, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna Borough Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of providing sewerage reticulation to portion of Area 1 in Ward B of the Borough of Takapuna, the Takapuna Borough Council makes a special rate of nought six eight of one penny in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in Ward B of the Borough of Takapuna; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna Borough Council held on the 21st day of February 1961.

TAKAPUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL
In the matter of section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952.
NOTICE is hereby given by the Takapuna Borough Council that it desires to change the purpose for which it holds the piece of land containing 1 rood 13.2 perches, more or less, being part of the area of 7 acres 2 roods 28.13 perches, more or less, being parts Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 1381, being portion Allotment 86, Parish of Takapuna, comprised in certificate of title, Volume 928, folio 232, Auckland Registry, vested in it by Proclamation in 1949. The area of 7 acres 2 roods 28.13 perches is vested in the Council as a pleasure ground. The Takapuna Borough Council desires that that part of the area containing 1 rood 13.2 perches, more or less, be set apart for and the vesting changed to street.
A plan of the area it is desired to set apart for street is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Lake Road, Takapuna, and is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the proposed change of purpose must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Council Chambers, Lake Road, Takapuna.

WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Roading Loan 1960, £37,500, Portion of £135,500
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waikato County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £37,500 authorised to be raised by the Waikato County Council under the above-mentioned Act for preparing and sealing main highways, the said Waikato County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·04107d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Waikato, comprising the whole of the County of Waikato; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twelve (12) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TARARUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tararua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £20,000 (to be known as 33 kV Conversion Loan 1960) authorised to be raised by the Tararua Electric Power Board in New Zealand by special order under the above-mentioned Act, and of all other Acts and authorities it thereunto enabling, for the purpose of converting the Board’s system of supply from 11 kV to 33 kV, the said Tararua Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/10 (one-tenth) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all the rateable property in the Tararua Electric Power District, as defined in Gazette, No. 31, of the 22nd day of May 1958, at pages 652 and 653; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct extract from the minutes of a meeting of the Tararua Electric Power Board held on the 28th day of April 1961.

WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Staff Housing Loan 1959, £2,400
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board held on the 27th day of April 1961 the following resolution was passed:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,400 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making an advance to an employee to purchase or erect a house, the said Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one-one hundred and sixtieth of a penny (1/160d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Wairarapa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
