NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 281 of the Companies Act 1955, that a general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at 99 Tremaine Avenue, Palmerston North, on Monday, 22 May 1961, at 2 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing how the winding up has been conducted and the property of the company has been disposed of, and to receive any explanation thereof by the liquidator.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Office Housing Loan (No. 3) 1961, £25,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Hauraki Catchment Board held on 27 April 1961 the following resolution was passed.
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hauraki Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
(1) That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges on a loan of £25,000 authorised to be raised by the Hauraki Catchment Board under the above-named Act for providing field offices, store sheds, and staff housing, including the purchase of land, the said Hauraki Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate of 0·00608d. in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the Hauraki Catchment District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
(2) The Hauraki Catchment Board doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the said loan the annual-recurring rate of 0·00608d. in the pound on all rateable property in the Hauraki Catchment District (on the basis of the capital value) made and levied by resolution of the Board dated 27 April 1961.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1961 of £17,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Henderson Borough Council held on the 17th day of April 1961:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £17,000 authorised to be raised by the Henderson Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting 16 pensioners’ single flats, the said Henderson Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two three pence (0·23d.) in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Henderson; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the aforesaid special rate be and is hereby permanently appropriated and pledged as security for the purpose of securing the said loan of £17,000 and interest thereon at the rate of three and a half per cent (3½ per cent) per annum.”
