Pursuant to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland Harbour Board to reclaim from the sea at Shoal Bay, Takapuna, the land as shown edged green on plan marked M.D. 10923 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the district valuation rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 31 March 1961.

Pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- On and from the 1st day of April 1961, the areas described in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the County of Kairanga and included in the City of Palmerston North.
- The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and the said city hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.
SCHEDULE
AREAS EXCLUDED FROM COUNTY OF KAIRANGA AND INCLUDED IN CITY OF PALMERSTON NORTH
All that area in the Wellington Land District containing 227 acres and 8·55 perches, more or less, and bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of No. 56 State Highway in line with the south-western boundary of Rural Section 350, Township of Palmerston North, and being a point on the boundary of the City of Palmerston North as described in Gazette, 1953, page 1189; thence north-westerly to and along that boundary and its production across Tremain Avenue (formerly Boundary Road) and part Section 1568, Township of Palmerston North, to the south-eastern side of the Wellington-New Plymouth Railway (Palmerston North Deviation); thence north-easterly along that side of the said railway to the south-western side of Lot 11, D.P. 7073, being a point on the boundary of the City of Palmerston North described as aforesaid; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along the boundary of the City of Palmerston North to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District containing 19 acres 3 roods 13·5 perches, more or less, and bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the south-western boundary of Lot 7, D.P. 7073, and the north-western boundary
of the Wellington-New Plymouth Railway (Palmerston North Deviation); being a point on the boundary of the City of Palmerston North as described in Gazette, 1953, page 1189; thence north-westerly and north-easterly along the south-western boundary of that lot and Lot 6, D.P. 7073, and the north-western boundary of the said Lot 6 to a point 250 links from Gillespies Line, being a point on the boundary of the City of Palmerston North aforesaid; thence south-easterly and south-westerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.

Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Masterton, and be under the control and management of the Masterton Borough Council.

All that piece of land containing 8·26 perches situated in the Borough of Masterton, Wellington R.D., being part Section 17, Masterton Small Farm Settlement; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2312 (S.O. 24843) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Pursuant to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that portion of road commencing at the north-western corner of Section 5, Block VIII, Coromandel Survey District, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 65 chains; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2256 (S.O. 36244) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.
