ALL that piece of land containing 3 acres and 22 perches situated in Block IV, Elephant Hill Survey District, Canterbury R.D., and being part Lot 26, D.P. 1394, being part Rural Section 18960; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 2006 (S.O. 9697) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of February 1961.
