DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined,
    continue in force until the 4th day of August 1966.

SCHEDULE

AREA OF SUPPLY

All those portions of the Dannevirke County described in
the First Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 27th day
of July 1960, and published in the Gazette on the 4th day
of August 1960 at page 1042, altering the boundaries of
the Central Hawke’s Bay and Dannevirke Electric Power
Districts.

Authorising Arthur George Chesswas and Arthur Edward
Peter Latham, Both of Kai Iwi, Wanganui, farmers, to
Erect and to Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of
Waitotara

At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of
December 1960
Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Arthur George
Chesswas and Arthur Edward Peter Latham, both of Kai Iwi,
Wanganui, farmers (hereinafter referred to as the licensees),
subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct,
put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the
Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
    the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
    Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall
    form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may
    be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

  1. This licence is issued under the Electrical Supply Regu-
    lations 1935, and is subject thereto, and to the Electrical
    Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations
    1958, and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment
    thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

  1. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph
    (d) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations
    1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall con-
    tinue in force until the 31st day of March 1981.

SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of
supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensees’
generator and proceeding as follows.

  1. In a northerly direction to a cowshed.
  2. In a south-westerly direction across a public road to a
    house.

All being situated in Section 1, Block XVI, Momahaki
Survey District, in the County of Waitotara, the said lines
and buildings being more particularly shown on the plan
marked N.Z.E.D. 558 deposited in the office of the New
Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Authorising Leslie Louis Whipp, of Half-moon Bay, Stewart
Island, Fisherman, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines

of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Leslie Louis
Whipp, of Half-moon Bay, Stewart Island, fisherman (here-
inafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions
hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use
the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

9 and 65, and proceeding in an easterly direction generally
across Elgin Terrace to a house situated in Lot 6, D.P. 345,
of Section 9; all being situated in Block I, Paterson Survey
District, in the County of Stewart Island; the said lines and
buildings being more particularly shown on the plan marked
N.Z.E.D. 559 deposited in the office of the New Zealand
Electricity Department at Wellington.

Farmer, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the
County of Manawatu

the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth,
to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines
described in the Schedule hereto.

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
    the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
    Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall
    form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

  1. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by
    the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the
    Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference
    Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in
    amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

  1. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs
    (d) and (e) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply
    Regulations 1935, and shall be an alternating-current system.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall con-
    tinue in force until the 31st day of March 1970 or until a
    supply of electricity is available for the licensee from the
    Manawatu-Oroua Electric Power Board, whichever is the
    earlier.
