Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Russell Street in
the Borough of Waihi, Subject to a Condition as to the
Building Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of
December 1960
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Waihi Borough Council to permit the laying off of
the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a
width for part of its length of less than 66 ft but not less
than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part
of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown
edged green on the plan marked M.O.W. 1737 referred to
in the said Schedule within a distance of 33 ft from the centre
line of the proposed street.
SCHEDULE
South Auckland Land District
THAT proposed street in the Borough of Waihi containing by
admeasurement 1 rood 3·7 perches, more or less, being Section
242, Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District; as the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W.
1737 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Blenheim Borough Council to permit the laying off
of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a
width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less
than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part
of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting
the proposed street within a distance of 15ft from the side
lines thereof.

THAT proposed street in the Borough of Blenheim, Marlborough R.D., containing 1 rood 16 perches, more or less,
being part Lot 1, D.P. 863, and part Lot 2, D.P. 1457, being

Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders
and declares that the access way described in the First
Schedule hereto and the service lane described in the Second
Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in
Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the
Borough of Masterton, and be under the control and
management of the Masterton Borough Council.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 8·72 perches situated in
the Borough of Masterton, Wellington R.D., being Lot 117,
D.P. 21497, being part Section 17, Masterton Small Farm

Approving the Term of a Licence Granted to the Auckland
Farmers' Freezing Co. Ltd. for Two Tramways Across
Portion of Quay Street, in the City of Auckland

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
In pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by
the Tramways Act 1908 and the Tramways Amendment Act
1910, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
approves of the term of the licence granted on the 14th day
of December 1959 for a period expiring on the 1st day
of June 1980 by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens
of the City of Auckland to the Auckland Farmers' Freezing
Co. Ltd., a company duly incorporated under the provisions
of the Companies Act 1955 and having its registered office at
Auckland in New Zealand (hereinafter referred to as "the
licensee"), authorising the licensee to maintain across portions
of Quay Street within the City of Auckland the private
tramways already constructed leading from premises of the
licensee situated on the northern side of Quay Street aforesaid
to the New Zealand Government Railways lands situated
on the southern side of Quay Street aforesaid, the positions
thereof being more particularly delineated on the plans
marked M.O.W. 469 and M.O.W. 474 deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red.

Authorising the Central Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board
to Erect and Use Electric Lines Within Part of the
Dannevirke County

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of
December 1960
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric
Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby authorises the Central Hawke's Bay Electric
Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject
to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put
up, place, and use electric lines within the area of supply
described in the Schedule hereto; and further, for the purpose
of section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, subject
to the said conditions, hereby authorises the licensee to
construct electric works within the said area of supply.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall
form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may
be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by
the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the
Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference
Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in
amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.
SYSTEMS OF SUPPLY
- The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (c), (d), (e), and (f) of regulation 21-01 of the
Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.
