Electric Lines and Military Appointments




SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of
supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the Horo-
whenua Electric Power Board's lines at a pole situated on
the southern boundary of Section 4c 1, and proceeding in a
north-easterly direction to a transformer situated in Section
4c 1 aforesaid, and thence:
(1) In a north-easterly direction to a pole, and thence;
(a) In a north-westerly direction to a cowshed
situated in Section 4c 1 aforesaid.
(b) In an easterly direction to a house situated in
Section 4b 2.
(2) In a south-westerly direction generally to a cowshed
and a house situated in Section 4b 2 aforesaid.
All being situated in Block III, Mount Robinson Survey
District, in the County of Manawatu; the said lines being
more particularly shown by means of broken red and green
lines on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 556 deposited in the
office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Welling-
ton.

Amending an Order in Council Authorising the Kaiapoi
Borough Council to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of
December 1960
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby further amends the Order in
Council dated the 15th day of October 1918, and published
in the Gazette on the 17th day of the same month at
page 3531, authorising the Kaiapoi Borough Council to erect
and use certain electric lines, as amended by an Order in
Council dated the 12th day of October 1960 and published
in the Gazette on the 13th day of the same month at
page 1614, by extending the duration of the said Order in
Council until the 14th day of July 1961.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee,
hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 10th day of
February 1960, and published in the Gazette on the 18th day
of the same month at page 187, authorising Dudley William
Win, of Owen Junction, Nelson, farmer, to use water for the
purpose of generating electricity and to erect and use certain
electric lines.

Officers, Regimental List, 3rd Field Regiment, RNZA, in the
rank of Lieutenant with seniority from 10 October 1955.

David James Oliver Caffin to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated

Lieutenant I. B. Anderson is transferred to the Reserve of
Officers, Regimental List, The New Zealand Scottish Regiment,
RNZAC, in his present rank and seniority. Dated 1 November

1st Divisional Signal Regiment, RNZ Sigs
Lieutenant-Colonel Sydney McGregor Reynolds, E.D., re-
linquishes the appointment of CO, and is transferred to the
Reserve of Officers, General List, Royal N.Z. Corps of
Signals, in the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 4 November
1960.

Brigadier H. S. Kenrick, C.B., C.B.E., E.D., F.R.C.S.(EDIN.),
Retired List, relinquishes the appointment of Colonel Com-
mandant, Royal N.Z. Army Medical Corps. Dated 1
November 1960.
Brigadier W. H. B. Bull, C.B.E., E.D., F.R.C.S.(EDIN.), Retired
List, is appointed Colonel Commandant, Royal N.Z. Army
Medical Corps. Dated 1 November 1960.
2nd General Hospital, RNZAMC
With reference to the notice published in the Gazette,
1 December 1960, No. 79, page 1879, relating to Lieutenant
(on prob.) B. P. McLaurin, M.B., CH.B., for “McLaurin”,
substitute “Maclaurin”.
Lieutenant B. P. Maclaurin, M.B., CH.B., “W” Coy, resigns
his commission. Dated 1 December 1960.
