WHEREAS, by an Order in Council dated the 23rd day of December 1957 and published in Gazette, 9 January 1958, Volume I, page 16, the Honourable Hugh Watt, Minister of Works, was appointed to be the chairman of the National Roads Board:
And whereas the said Hugh Watt has resigned from membership of the Board:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 4 of the National Roads Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby appoints
The Honourable William Stanley Goosman to be Chairman of the National Roads Board.

The Northern Side of Portion of Frederick Street in the City of Wellington Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of December 1960

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the 15th day of July 1959 and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
THE Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in Wellington City, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the northern side of the portion of Frederick Street adjoining Lots 32 and 33, D.P. 29, and the land in D.P. 10211, being all (or part) of the land in certificate of title, Volume 511, folio 89, and Volume 340, folio 254, Wellington Registry, as is more particularly shown on the plan annexed hereto.
SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
THE northern side of all that portion of street situated in the City of Wellington known as Frederick Street, fronting the land on D.P. 10211, and Lots 32 and 33, Deeds Plan 29, being parts Sections 238 and 239, Town of Wellington; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1713 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 as amended by section 2 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the closing of the portion of street known as Chester Street, in the Borough of Patea, described in the Schedule hereto.
