Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Pepper Street in the City of Hastings, Subject as to a Condition as to the Building Line, and Revoking Previous Order in Council

At the Government House at Wellington this 30th day of November 1960
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Hastings City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft but not less than 40 ft subject as to a condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked M.O.W. 1258 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 20 ft from the side line of the said street, and hereby revokes the Order in Council bearing date the 10th day of August 1960, and published in Gazette, 25 August 1960, No. 54, page 1265, authorising the laying off of a street.

THAT proposed street containing by admeasurement 1 rood 25 perches, more or less, situated in the City of Hastings, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being part Lot 36, D.P. 1325, part Lot 2, D.P. 8908, part Lot 4, D.P. 2499, and part Lot 5, D.P. 5138, part Heretaunga Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 1258 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Adding Land to the Tongariro National Park

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall as from the date hereof be added to and form part of the Tongariro National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Tongariro National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.
