Additional Land at Linwood Taken for the Purposes of Hurunui-Waitaki Railway

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway.

Situated in the City of Christchurch. (S.O. 9735.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16897 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 1st day of November 1960.

Amending an Order in Council Appointing Five Non-elective Members of the Hauraki Catchment Board

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949, and published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Volume II, page 1624, appointing five non-elective members of the Hauraki Catchment Board, by deleting “Instructor in Agriculture, Department of Agriculture, Thames”, and substituting “Farm Advisory Officer, Department of Agriculture, Thames”.

Directing the Sale of a Leasehold Estate in Land, Together With and Subject to Party Wall Rights, in the City of Dunedin

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from the Otago Harbour Board under and by virtue of lease No. 10501, Otago Land Registry, by Her Majesty the Queen for buildings of the General Government for a term of 21 years from the 1st day of January 1954, together with the party wall rights created by memoranda of transfer No. 202842, Otago Land Registry, and subject to the party wall rights created by memorandum of transfer No. 210208, the leasehold estate in the land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

PURSUANT to section 131 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 27th day of August 1952, and published in Gazette, 28 August 1952, Vol. II, page 1409, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under No. S. 38288, authorising the Tauranga Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street to be known as Parkvale Road in the Borough of Tauranga, by varying the condition with regard to the building line imposed by the said Order in Council so that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the proposed street within a distance of 40 ft from the centre line of the said street.
