Mangatangi Tribal Committee Area
All that area, being part of the Pou-O-Mangatawhiri Tribal District, bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of the Te Paina Tribal Committee Area and proceeding easterly along the boundary of the Pou-O-Mangatawhiri Tribal District to its intersection with the western boundary of Block I, Wharekawa Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundary of the said survey district to the middle of the Pokeno-Miranda Main Highway; thence south-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station F, and along another right line to Trig. Station 1417 in Block VII, Mara-maruа Survey District; thence northerly along the boundary of the Te Paina Tribal Committee Area, hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.

Maramaruа Tribal Committee Area
All that area, being part of the Pou-O-Mangatawhiri Tribal District, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 1417, situated in Block VII, Maramaruа Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along the boundary of the Mangatangi Tribal Committee Area, south-easterly along the boundary of the Kaiaua Tribal Committee Area, and south-westerly along the boundary of the Pou-O-Mangatawhiri Tribal District, all hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.

Kaiaua Tribal Committee Area
All that area, being part of the Pou-O-Mangatawhiri Tribal District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the shores of the Firth of Thames being the northernmost corner of the Tapapakanga Block in Block II, Orere Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally along the boundary of the Pou-O-Mangatawhiri Tribal District hereinbefore described to Trig. Station 135 (Rataroa); thence northerly generally along a right line to the intersection of the middle of the Miranda-Pokeno Main Highway with the western boundary of Wharekawa Survey District; thence along the boundaries of the Mangatangi Tribal Committee Area and the Pou-O-Mangatawhiri Tribal District hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.

RANGIRIRI TRIBAL DISTRICT
Maurea Tribal Committee Area
All that area, being part of the Rangiriri Tribal District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block IV, Maramarua Survey District, being the intersection of the boundary of the Rangiriri Tribal District as hereinbefore described with the middle of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, and proceeding southerly generally along the middle of the said railway to a point in Block XII, Rangiriri Survey District, in line with the southern boundary of the western portion of the aforesaid district; thence westerly along a right line to and westerly, northerly, and easterly along the boundaries of the Rangiriri Tribal District hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.

Takauwhata Tribal Committee Area
All that area, being part of the Rangiriri Tribal District, bounded by a line commencing at a point at the northern corner of the Maurea Tribal Committee Area and proceeding north-easterly along the boundary of the Rangiriri Tribal District as hereinbefore described to its intersection with the Waerenga-Maramaruа Road; thence south-easterly generally along a right line to Trig. Station No. 1163 (Kapukapu) in Block XIII, Piako Survey District; thence southerly along another right line passing through Trig. Station No. 1229 in Block I, Hapuakohe Survey District, to the south-eastern boundary of the Rangiriri Tribal District; thence generally southerly, westerly, and northerly along the boundary of the Rangiriri Tribal District hereinbefore described, to and along the eastern boundary of the Maurea Tribal Committee Area to the point of commencement.

Taniwha Tribal Committee Area
All that area, being part of the Rangiriri Tribal District, bounded by a line commencing at the northern corner of Takauwhata Tribal Committee Area and proceeding generally, northerly, southerly, and westerly along the boundaries of the Rangiriri Tribal District hereinbefore described; thence northerly generally along the boundary of the Takauwhata Tribal Committee Area hereinbefore described to the point of com-mencement.

Declaring Parts of a Tribal District to be Tribal Committee Areas and Consequential Revocations

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby declares the parts of the Raukawa Tribal District described in the Schedule hereto to be tribal committee areas for the purposes of the said Act, with the respective names therein set out, and hereby revokes the notice dated 10 July 1947 and published in the Gazette of 17 July 1947 at page 887 in so far as it affects the Foxton-Rangiotu-Paranui and the Palmerston North Tribal Committee areas.

SCHEDULE
RAUKAWA TRIBAL DISTRICT
Foxton Tribal Committee Area
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Lot 22, D.P. 1368, and proceeding northerly along a right line to Trig. Station Kaikokopu in Block III, Sandy Survey District, along a right line to the south-western corner of part Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 4413, along the western boundary of the said part Lots 1 and 2, the western boundary of Lots 12 and 6; D.P. 4642, the western boundary of Lot 6, D.P. 3504, and the production of that boundary to the middle of Taikoria Road; thence easterly along the middle of Taikoria Road to the middle of the Foxton-Sanson road; thence northerly along the middle of the said road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of the land in D.P 3005, and along a right line to Trig. Station Mount Stewart in Block XVI, Rangitoto Survey District; thence southerly along a right line to the junction of Coles Road and Rongotea Road, a right line to the north-western corner of Section 10, Pu-ketotara Block, and along the western boundary of the said Section 10 to the south-western corner of the said section; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Puketotara Block and its production to the middle of the Manawatu River; thence down the middle of the Manawatu River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 80, Block VI, Mount Robinson Survey District; thence easterly to and along that boundary to the northern corner of Section 80 aforesaid; thence southerly along a right line to Trig. Station Te Pehu in Block X, Mount Robinson Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Manawatu River on the production of the southern side of Union Street in the Borough of Foxton; thence down the middle of the Manawatu River to its mouth; thence northerly generally along the sea coast to a point on the production of a right line between the south-western corner of Lot 22, D.P. 1368, and the southernmost corner of Section 383, Township of Carnarvon, Koputara Native Reserve, situated in Block IV, Sandy Survey District; thence north-easterly to and along that line to the point of commencement.

Rangitane Tribal Committee Area
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Manawatu River on the production of the eastern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 3370, in Block IV, Mount Robinson Survey District, and proceeding down the middle of the Manawatu River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Puketotara Block; thence westerly to and along that boundary to the south-western corner of Section 10, Puketotara Block; thence northerly along the western boundary of the said Section 10 to the north-western corner of the said section and along a right line to the junction of Coles Road and Rongotea Road; thence easterly and south-easterly generally along the middle of Rongotea Road and Campbell-town Road to Boundary Road; thence north-easterly along the middle of Boundary Road and Kelvin Grove Road to its junction with Stoney Creek Road; thence northerly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Oroua River on the production of the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 2677; thence up the middle of the Oroua River to its confluence with the South Branch Oroua River; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station Te Hekenga in Block III, Umutoi Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station Tiraha on the eastern boundary of Block III aforesaid; thence south-westerly generally along the summit of the Ruahine Range to Whareite Trig. Station and along a right line to a point in the middle of the Manawatu River in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 2, Subdivision X, of the Manchester Block; thence easterly up the middle of the Manawatu River to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 1, Block I, Mangahao Survey District; thence southerly to and along that boundary to the south-western corner of Section 1, Block I aforesaid, along a right line to a point on the North Range Road in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block II, Mangahao Survey District, along the North Range Road, the South Range Road to the south-western boundary of Section 13, Block XIX, Mangahao Survey District, along that boundary to its southernment corner, along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block VI, Mangahao Survey District, and Section 4, Block V, Mangahao Survey District, to the abutment of Marima Ridge Road, and a right line to Marima Trig. Station; thence south-westerly along a right line to Arawaru Trig. Station; thence north-westerly along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 315, Block VIII, Arawaru Survey District; thence
