LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Reconstruction Loan (No. 6) 1959, £32,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty-two thousand five hundred pounds (£32,500) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing Tennyson Avenue, Avalon Crescent, and Garden Road, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three hundred and thirteen thousandths of a penny (.313d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on 21 January 1960.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Reconstruction Loan (No. 7) 1959, £49,350
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of forty-nine thousand three hundred and fifty pounds (£49,350) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of reconstructing streets, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four hundred and seventy-five thousandths of a penny (.475d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets and Drainage Loan 1959, £16,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of sixteen thousand five hundred pounds (£16,500) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing stormwater drainage in various areas of the city and completing road works in Oxford Terrace, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and forty-five thousandths of a penny (.145d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reserves Development Loan (No. 6) 1959, £6,500
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of six thousand five hundred pounds (£6,500) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing basketball courts at Taita, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and forty-four thousandths of a penny (.144d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is paid off.”

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of erecting a grandstand on the Levin Park Domain, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-four four-hundredths of a penny (54/400d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Levin, comprising the whole of the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Street Works Loan 1958, £16,000—Second Issue of £8,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £8,000, being the second issue of the Street Works Loan 1958 of £16,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the above Act for the purpose of street reconstruction, sealing, kerbing and channelling, footpath formation, and sealing, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal three nine pence (.39d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Rangiora; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Malvern County Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,500 authorised to be raised by the Malvern County Council under the above-mentioned Act for meeting the county’s share of the cost of replacing Austin’s Bridge, the said Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·021 pence in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole County of Malvern; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
