DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Water-of-Leith Loan 1959 of £24,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £24,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing flood protection works in the Water of Leith, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·027634d. in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

WHANGAROA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A QUARRY, AND SECONDLY TO TAKE AN EASEMENT OF RIGHT OF WAY OVER LAND TO GIVE ACCESS TO THE QUARRY

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, firstly, to take the parcels of land described in the First Schedule hereto for a quarry; and, secondly, to take an easement of right of way over the parcels of land described in the Second Schedule hereto to give access to the said quarry: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the lands are deposited at the office of the Whangaroa County Council at Kaeo, and are there open for inspection (without fee) during office hours; and that all persons affected by the taking of such lands and easements or either the taking of such lands or the easement should, if they have any well grounded objections to such actions or either of them, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Whangaroa County Council at Kaeo.

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Hamilton City Council proposes to execute certain public works, to wit, the formation of streets, for which purpose the lands described in the Schedule hereto require to be taken by the Hamilton City Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, sections 22 and 23.

A plan of the lands required to be taken as aforesaid is open for inspection at the office of the Hamilton City Council, Alma Street, Hamilton.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well founded objections to the execution of such works or to the taking of such lands and to send such writing to the Hamilton City Council within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice.

BOROUGH OF MOUNT ALBERT

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the Borough of Mount Albert was approved by the Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 24th day of November 1959, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed and all variations of the scheme required by the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of February 1960.

Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council's office, 615 New North Road, Mount Albert, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when the office is open to the public.

BOROUGH OF TUAKAU

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Tuakau Borough Council on the 14th day of October 1959, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of Tuakau. The scheme has been deposited in the office of the Town Clerk, 70 George Street, Tuakau, and the Auckland Regional Planning Office, Princes Street, Auckland, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 31 January 1960. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk, in writing within a period of which public notice will be given.
