NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for
the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of
the under-mentioned goods under item 205 (8) (a) of the Customs

These tyres are at present admitted under Tariff item 348 (1) of
the Tariff.
The application will not be dealt with until 6 October 1960
and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto should do
so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington,
on or before 6 October 1960.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of
Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for
the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs,
of the under-mentioned goods under item 359 (2) (a) of the
Customs Tariff of New Zealand:
Galvanised shear point clouts.
The application will not be dealt with until 6 October 1960
and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto
should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs,
Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 6 October 1960.

Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for
the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs,
of the under-mentioned goods under item 421 (3) (b) (i)
of the Customs Tariff of New Zealand:
- "Polycell" cellulose cement.
- Cements for bonding abrasives to polishing or grinding
wheels.
The applications will not be dealt with until 6 October 1960
and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto
should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs,
Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 6 October 1960.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of
Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made
for the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs,
of the under-mentioned goods under item 269 (1) (a) of the
Customs Tariff of New Zealand: - Fibreboard.
- Waxing Sulphite board.
- Reinforced board for the manufacture of box-tape.
- Chipboard faced with foil.
- Separator board for storage battery manufacture.
- Board suitable for footwear manufacture (e.g., fibre
shank board, pattern board, Texon board, insole
board). - Board suitable for use as an electrical insulation (e.g.,
Elephantide, Presspahn, leatheroid, vulcanised fibre).
The applications will not be dealt with until 6 October 1960
and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto
should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs,
Private Bag, Wellington, on or before 6 October 1960.

Tariff Notice—Application for Approval of the Minister of
Customs
NOTICE is hereby given that applications have been made for
the classification, by approval of the Minister of Customs, of
the under-mentioned goods under item 205 (8) (a) of the
Customs Tariff of New Zealand:
Tyres and tubes of the following sizes (irrespective of ply
rating) for use on wheelbarrows:

16 X 4 16 X 4
14 X 3 14 X 3
The applications will not be dealt with until 6 October
1960 and any person wishing to submit any objection thereto
should do so in writing to the Comptroller of Customs, Pri-
vate Bag, Wellington, on or before 6 October 1960.
It is hereby notified for public information that Tariff
Notice No. 18 dated 8 September 1960, relating to tyres and
tubes of size 16 in. X 14 in. for use on wheelbarrows is
cancelled.
