HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
1.(1) This order may be cited as the Kiwitahi Rabbit District Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
2.The boundaries of the Kiwitahi Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 10th day of April 1933,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE KIWITIAHI RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District and the Piako and Waikato Counties and the Morrinsville Borough containing 102,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point being the junction of the middle of the Hamilton-Paeroa State Highway and the middle of Main Road 22 in Block XVI, Waitoa Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly generally along the middle of the last-mentioned road, the middle of the Mangatarata-Tirau Main Highway to and south-westerly generally along the middle of Station Road and the middle of the Tahuna-Waharoa via Morrinsville Main Highway to and up the middle of the Piakonui Stream to the eastern boundary of part Kiwitahi 1A as shown on S.O. 33884 and now being parts Sections 5, 7, and 8, Block XV, Maungakawa Survey District; thence again south-westerly along a right line passing through those sections to and along the south-eastern boundary of part Kiwitahi 1A on D.P. 21756, and the generally eastern boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 23088, to and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Kiwitahi 1b 2 to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Kiwitahi 2E; thence westerly generally along a right line across Te Miro Road to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Kiwitahi 2E aforesaid, Section 114, Te Miro Settlement, the north-eastern and western boundaries of the land as shown on D.P. 28351, to and along the north-eastern boundaries of 108s and 105s, Te Miro Settlement to Trig. 705 (Tutaenui) in Block XIV, Maungakawa Survey District; thence along a right line across the aforesaid Sections 105s and 108s to the southernmost corner of Section 108s; thence again westerly generally along the northern boundary of Section 92s, the abutment of a public road, the northern boundary of Section 91s, the northern, western, and southern boundaries of Section 83s, the north-western boundaries of part Section 33s, Sections 103s and 109s, and the northern boundary of Section 35s, all the aforesaid sections being of Te Miro Settlement aforesaid to and along the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S. 3364 and that boundary produced to the middle of Beers Road; thence northerly generally along the middle of Beers Road aforesaid, the middles of the Cambridge-Eureka Main Highway, Hill Road, Ransteads Road, and Scotchmans Valley Road to and south-westerly along the middle of the aforesaid Cambridge-Eureka Main Highway, the middles of Tauwhare Road, Tram Road, the Hamilton-Paeroa State Highway, and the Hamilton-Rotorua State Highway to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 32103, in Block II, Hamilton Survey District; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundary of the City of Hamilton as described in Gazette, 1954, page 587, to the intersection of the middle of Peach Grove Road with the middle of East Street in Block XIV, Komakorau Survey District; thence again northerly generally along the middles of East Street and Tramway Road to and north-easterly along the middle of Alderson Road to and along the western boundary of Lot 29, D.P. 16401 to and along the generally south-eastern boundaries of part Lot 2, D.P. 12771, part Lot 3, D.P. 3805, Lot 3, D.P. 36126, part Lot 5, D.P. 3805, and part Lot 23, D.P. 3512, to and along the south-western boundaries of part Lot 5, Lots 6, 7, and 8, D.P. 4964, and that last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Thames Branch Railway in Block XV, Komakorau Survey District; thence again north-easterly along the middle of that railway to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 36295; thence northerly generally along a right line to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of Lot 1 aforesaid to and along the eastern boundaries of Lots 6 and 3, D.P. 24003, and Lot 21, D.P. 6644, and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Piako Road in Block VIII, Komakorau Survey District; thence south-easterly along the middle of that road and that middle line produced to the middle of the Thames Branch Railway; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of that railway to its intersection with the middle of the Hamilton-Paeroa State Highway at Piako Railway Station; thence again north-easterly generally along the middle of the aforesaid highway to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE MACKENZIE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Ashburton, Mackenzie, and Waimate Counties, Canterbury Land District, containing 551,274 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the left bank of the Waitaki River at the south-western corner of Run 68, Block V, Hewlings Survey District, and proceeding northerly generally up the left bank of the Waitaki River to the right bank of the Tekapo River; thence northerly generally along the right bank of that river, to and along the western shore of Lake Tekapo, to and along the right bank of the Godley River to the terminal face of the Godley Glacier; thence north-easterly generally along the terminal face and the south-eastern side of that glacier and its production to the summit of the Two Thumb Range; thence southerly generally along the summit of that range to and along the eastern boundary of Run 77A and again along the summit of the Two Thumb Range to Tekapo Saddle, Block XII, Tekapo Survey District; thence south-easterly generally to and along the middle of Firewood Stream to the junction of that stream with the Opihi River; thence southerly generally to and along the watershed passing through Rural Sections 36085 and 36458, along the eastern boundaries of Rural Sections 36459 and 36460, passing through Rural Section 38102, and along the eastern boundaries of Rural Sections 36464 and 36465, to and along the middle of a road forming the western boundary of Rural Section 36091 in Block IX, Tengawai Survey District, to a point due west of the north-western corner of SGR 51; thence south-westerly along a right line through SGR 54 to a point on the north-eastern boundary of part Rural Section 37501, distant 3,965 links from the north-eastern corner of that section; thence westerly along a right line, bearing 254Β° 44' through the said part Rural Section 37501 to the middle of the Tengawai River; thence northerly and westerly up the middle of that river and Mackenzie Stream to the middle of Lockharts Stream; thence southerly up the middle of that stream to its source; thence to and along the western boundaries of Section 1, Block IV, and Section 1, Block VIII, Mackenzie Survey District, to the middle of the Hakataramea River; thence southerly down the middle of that river to the middle of Dalgety Stream; thence westerly up the middle of that stream to the western boundary of Block XII, Makenzie Survey District; thence southerly along the boundary of that block to the middle of a road passing through Rural Section 30128; thence south-westerly along the middle of that road to the eastern boundary of Run 252, thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of that run to the eastern boundary of Run 70A; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of that run and the southern boundary of Run 68 to the point of commencement.
