Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the Minister of Agriculture made on the recommendation of the Rabbit Destruction Council, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby constitutes and declares the area of land, the boundaries of which are declared in the Schedule hereto, being an area to which subsection (1) of section 14 of the Rabbits Act 1955 applies, a rabbit district, and appoints that the name of the said rabbit district shall be the Lee Rabbit District, and orders that the basis on which the rabbit board to be established for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of land occupied by the ratepayer.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE LEE RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Counties of Taieri and Tuapeka, containing 179,600 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 11, Block II, Waipori Survey District, and proceeding westerly along the northern boundary of that survey district to the eastern boundary of Run 186; thence generally north-westerly along the north-eastern and northern boundaries of that run to the eastern boundary of Run 661; thence generally south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of that run to its southernmost corner; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Run 659 and its production to the middle of Deep Stream; thence generally north-easterly and easterly along the middle of Deep Stream and its production to the middle of the Taieri River; thence generally south-easterly and south-westerly along the middle of the Taieri River to a point in line with the middle of Traquair Burn; thence generally north-westerly along the middle of the Traquair Burn to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 10, Block IX, Maungatua Survey District; thence generally south-westerly to and along that south-eastern boundary to the north-eastern side of the Mosgiel-Kyeburn State Highway No. 87; thence generally south-easterly along the north-eastern side of that highway to a point in line with the southern side of McHendry Road; thence generally westerly to and along the southern side of that road to a point due north of Trig. O in Block XI, Maungatua Survey District; thence due south along a right line to Trig. O; thence south-westerly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 24, Block XI, aforesaid; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundary of that Section 24 and generally southerly along the western boundary of Section 12, Block XIV, Maungatua Survey District, to a point due east of Trig. Maungatua; thence south-westerly along the right line between Trig. Maungatua and the most easterly corner of Run 51A to the middle of the Waipori River; thence generally north-westerly along the middle of the Waipori River to the Mahinerangi Dam; thence generally north-easterly along the south-eastern shore of Lake Mahinerangi to a point in line with the western boundary of Block VI, Waipori Survey District; thence northerly to and along the western boundaries of Blocks VI and III, Waipori Survey District, to the point of commencement.

The Southern Side of Portion of Gillies Street, in the Kawakawa Town District, Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the Kawakawa Town Council on the 22nd day of December 1959 and set out in the First Schedule hereto, in so far as it affects the portion of street described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
THE Kawakawa Town Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in Kawakawa, by resolution declares that the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928 shall not apply to the south side of the portion of Gillies Street adjoining parts Te Wharau Block, being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 1104, folio 39, Auckland Registry, and part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 352, folio 210, Auckland Registry.

SECOND SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
The southern side of all that portion of street situated in the Kawakawa Town District known as Gillies Street fronting part Te Wharau Block.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 169 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorising the Otago Harbour Board to Sell Sand in Block V, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District
COBHAM, Governor-General
Pursuant to section 140 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby authorise the Otago Harbour Board to sell or contract to sell and remove sand from the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of land containing 2 acres 7.6 perches situated in the North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, and being part Block V; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 927 (S.O. 12909) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 31st day of August 1960.
