RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wairau Valley Scheme Plant Loan 1960, £50,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers in that behalf enabling, the Marlborough Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) authorised to be raised by the Marlborough Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of purchasing plant to assist with the construction of the Wairau Valley Scheme, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate, as set out in the Schedule hereto, on the rateable capital value of all rateable property liable to be rated for such rate in that part of the Marlborough Catchment District defined in the classification list for the Wairau Valley Scheme Rating District deposited at the offices of the said Board, the said rate being on a graduated scale according to the classification made by the said Board of lands in the said part of the Catchment District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on or about the last day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
SCHEDULE
Lands in Class A: 0·34 pence in the pound.
Lands in Class B: 0·19 pence in the pound.
Lands in Class C: 0·16 pence in the pound.
Lands in Class D: 0·13 pence in the pound.
Lands in Class E: 0·08 pence in the pound.
Lands in Class F: 0·03 pence in the pound.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Marlborough Catchment Board held on the 9th day of August 1960.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers in that behalf enabling, the Marlborough Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty thousand pounds (£150,000), known as the Wairau Valley Scheme Works Loan 1960, authorised to be raised by the Marlborough Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting part of the said Board’s share of the cost of approved works under the Wairau Valley Scheme, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate, as set out in the Schedule hereto, on the rateable capital value of all rateable property liable to be rated for such rate in that part of the Marlborough Catchment District defined in the classification list for the Wairau Valley Scheme Rating District deposited at the offices of the said Board, the said rate being on a graduated scale according to the classification made by the said Board of lands in the said part of the Catchment District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan or part raised thereof, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan or part thereof is fully paid off.”

BRUCE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Rural Housing Loan 1960, £16,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bruce County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £16,000 authorised to be raised by the Bruce County Council for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the Council hereby makes a special rate of one-thirtieth (1/30) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly as the payments fall due in each and every half year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Bruce County Council on the 10th day of August 1960.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE AN EASEMENT OVER LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and of the Counties Act 1956.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hobson County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the completion of a certain drainage work consisting of the construction of a new drain and the widening and deepening and alteration of part of the course of the drain known as the Mangatara Drain; and for the purposes of such public work an easement and/or right of way over the lands in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken and the form of such easement and/or right of way is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate in Normanby Street, Dargaville, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said easement and/or right of way over such lands who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said easement and/or right of way over the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Normanby Street, Dargaville.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR SANITARY WORKS

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Public Works Act 1928, and the Health Act 1956.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute certain public works, namely, sanitary works, to wit, a refuse tip, and for the purposes of such public works the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Willow Street, Tauranga, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Tauranga Borough Council, Willow Street, Tauranga.
