NOTICE is hereby given that, by duly signed entry in the minute book of the above-named company pursuant to Section 362, on 2 August 1960 the following special resolution was passed by the company:

“That the company be wound up voluntarily and that John Patrick Murphy, of Whangarei, public accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company.”

Notice is hereby given that the undersigned, the liquidator of Carr and Hogg Ltd, does hereby fix the 29th day of August 1960 as the day on or before which all creditors of the company are to prove the debts or claims.

Notice of Meeting of Creditors

NOTICE is hereby given that on 10 August 1960 it was resolved, by an entry in the minute book of the company signed as provided by section 362 subsection 1 of the Companies Act 1955, that the company be wound up voluntarily and that a meeting of the creditors of the company be held, pursuant to section 284 of the Companies Act 1955, at the Board Room, Cook, Craig, and Co., Third Floor, South British Building, 326 Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Friday, 19 August 1960, at 2.30 p.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting it will be proposed that George Craig, public accountant, Wellington, be appointed liquidator of the company, and also at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 285 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be the liquidator of the company and, in pursuance of section 286 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

In the matter of the Companies Act 1955 and in the matter of McDonald and Dunlop Ltd. (in liquidation.)

THE liquidator of McDonald and Dunlop Ltd., which is being wound up voluntarily, doth hereby fix the 2nd day of September 1960 as the day on or before which the creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 308 of the Act, or to be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000) authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for straightening, deepening, and forming a watercourse, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nine hundredths of a penny (0·09d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Northcote comprising the whole of the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Dated at Northcote this 9th day of August 1960.

COROMANDEL COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Rural Housing Loan 1960, £10,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Coromandel County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing security for the payment of principal and interest on a loan of £10,000 authorised to be raised by the Coromandel County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of rural housing under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the Coromandel County Council hereby make a special rate of one-quarter of one penny upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Coromandel; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The Coromandel County Council at a meeting held on the 17th day of February 1960 passed the above resolution.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
——
Streets Reconstruction Loan (No. 9) 1960, £30,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of thirty thousand pounds (£30,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing part of Stokes Valley Road, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two hundred and forty-one thousandths of a penny (·241d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on the 15th day of August 1960.

Bridges Loan 1960, £42,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolved as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of forty-two thousand pounds (£42,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing bridges at Wainui Road and Seaview Road, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three hundred and fifty-eight thousandths of a penny (·358d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on or about the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the meeting of the Lower Hutt City Council held on the 15th day of August 1960.
